No change to make gear-swapping easier? I feel like a kid all over again, and not in a good way. Every Christmas, I would ask for that Bigfoot Power Wheels. All I ever wanted to do was drive Bigfoot all over my yard. But alas, it was never to be. For St. Nick apparently had other plans that did NOT involve Bigfoot, much to my chagrin, year after year. Here, every update, I pray and I pray and I pray that we will see an easier way to swap gear between survivors, and yet NG - like Santa - never delivers for me the one item I truly desire. The scars of yesteryear have resurfaced once again this holiday season. Bah, humbug.9
Because she would have the unique leader trait, "Siren's Song," where your survivors have a 15% chance of soothing human enemies into deadly submission with soft lullabies.8
Ha, first thing I thought with @Governator 's comment, was "uh oh, watch out, Al Franken!" Here's where it gets interesting, because that one silly thought led me down the following path, literally in seconds. Al Franken is a senator from Minnesota. Jesse "the Body" Ventura was once the governor of Minnesota. JV was in Predator with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Arnold, when he was governor of California, was commonly referred to as.....yup.....The Governator. Bam, full circle.
If this were 20 years ago, and I were under the influence of hallucinogens, as was so common back then, this would have absolutely blown my mind.
Sorry for going off topic, but this was a cool full circle of quick random thoughts.5
Done, badge please!!
PS: Thanks to the Eugene tokens, my Eugene is now legendary. Not the most exciting thing in the world, but kind of cool.2
How about this as a solution to all those who don't like the new system because they are "losing stars"? Just make each map 6 stars instead of 3. Take an injury? You only get 4 stars. Struggle? You only get 2 stars. With this in place, all those complaining about fewer stars will get all the benefits of the new system...and MORE [meaningless] stars than even the old system had...it's a win/win!!
*Disclaimer1: I am not actually endorsing this idea, simply illustrating the absurd illusion that fewer stars has any kind of effect on the game, guild status, player status, or anything else for that matter.
*Disclaimer2: No part of this post, including Disclaimer 1, was in any way whatsoever intended to be toxic. "Absurd" is merely an adjective, not an insult, and in this phrase, it is describing the word "illusion," not any member of the forum.7
