Send message to posse

As leader, if I "send a message to posse" using the tab, does it get emailed to the posse or just post to that tab? Thanks in advance for your answer.

    It just posts to that tab Cosmo but stays as a permanent message, good for new members to look through and pick up any advice on how you run your Posse.
