Level 55?

Is there a way to reach level 55? I am at level 54. I have seen some players at 55, but my math doesn't seem to reach that number.

2202 current XP
400 Quicksand from 9 to 10 level
1550 Upgrading the rest of mines -lvls 16/17 to 19
TOTAL EQUALS 4102, balance due 708.

Ain't gonna happen, is it.

    Cosmo. There was a time in the game that they didn't offer experience points for trap and bomb upgrades. If you upgraded them at that time, you are like many players that are stuck on 54. Nothing you can do. What I can say is congrats on playing the game for this long.

    Booby Traps go up to level 20, the upgrade from 19 to 20 gives 100 experience points, so 8 booby traps should give you 800 points!
    Say hi to level 55 for me! I'm trapped at level 54 :(
