Get unlimited flags since the troops always wonder and have no focus. If they stayed together and focused on the flags them limited flags would be fine, but troops follow a flag for a second and then go off somewhere else and have to be immediately reflagged to get them back.

I am going to give some flag tips that you probably know but I will say for anyone else.

    - If you flag a camp your people will walk to it and ignore everything else
    - If you flag a location and your troops encounter enemy troops they will stop and fight
    - If you have wranglers they will pursue the enemy deep into wherever they walk
    - If you flag a camp and your people destroy it, they then walk anywhere. They do not continue to the camp. This applies to defensive structures also. If you flag it they will approach it but once it is gone they utilize the UI to determine where to go. So you will have to re-flag a spot on the ground to get the stragglers to walk.

Also be careful, if you flag too close to a defensive building your troops will walk all the way to that spot even if they can shoot that building from farther away. So if you have rangers and you click the pinkerton tower they will get shot. BUT if you flag out of the pinkerton range they will walk and shoot the pinkerton tower and not suffer any losses.

Thanks for the reminder Wingman ... using flags in a way that limits injuries is sure a fine art!

It's the whole trick of the game. Mastering flags saves troops and brings the victory!
