PPL to floor exact thresholds

We did some upgrades tests at Deadmonton to check where exactly the floor moves depending on the PPL, and I’ll share with you guys the findings.

There might be some small discrepancies with what you see, but it should be mostly accurate.
plan your upgrades accordingly ;)

Your charts fit what I see 👍
my ppl is 24.5 and the lowest level I see is 18

if I use the Official one my lowest should be 19
So NG most have some kind of bug somewhere

It's not a bug per se. It's just a mismatch between how we think it works and how it really does.
The processes inside the blackbox that takes your top 10 cards' power and outputs the levels of objects you see are more complicated than our understanding of them. The PPL calculation is better used as a guideline, not the absolute law. When Sam helped introduce the PPL on Reddit and was answering community's questions he mentioned that the easy mission floor is generally 2 lvl below the PPL, so there's something else :)

@vicsark i hope it is okay if I mention you on my calculator:

    https://powerlevel.twdstats.de/en/index.php

It now outputs the official minLevel and your more accurate calculation for the min level.
Thank you for sharing your findings with us.

    Best regards

Sure thing, thx for your calculator!
tested it with an edge case and seems accurate.
you could adjust too the formula for
« To raise your Easy MinLevel, you will need 6 additional Strengh. » by using xx.40 as a threshold not to go over to avoid unwanted floor upgrades.
between XX.41 and XX.49 there might be some edge cases of floor upgrades, so staying below .40 is the safest route.

@vicsark So uh... what exactly is the "PPL bonus" column supposed to represent? I don't think that term's come up in any other discussions about PPL that I've read.

I am almost sure it refers to decrease in mission floor level every 5 player levels, which for some reason increases with PPL here. But Vicsark might have a better answer.

Yes what Bemxuu said, It’s the 1 point floor drop every 5 PPL level that gets Substracted from the easy mission levels which starts at -2

The interesting part is where exactly this extra -1 floor triggers.
as you can see you should have the same floor 18 for example wether your PPL is between 24.41 and 26.40
because the extra point floor drop bonus activates around 25.40/25.50

Vic, but the drop is due to PLAYER LEVEL, not PPL, isn't it?

Edit: no, it was me who was reading it wrong smh. Thanks, Vic! :)
