I guess we get the same types of rewards from buying the gold crates but I will miss the deadlies.
You know my policy on polls and that I don't do deadlies...so this is for you...you're my boy Blue!
They were no way harder than a normal mission and the increased chance whilst there you didnt generally notice it.
- High gas cost
- Poor rewards
- Lack of gold tickets. Was more few months back
So basically I will not miss it...

When I first started I lost lots on deadly missions as my in game 'Memorial' will testify but then I just love the drama and the little bit of tension they bring.
That's Tension and not attention that a lot around here crave and need

Let's make a fantastic world class, top free app with in-app purchase game based on where players characters get killed on missions and then what we should do after we have done that is then listen to a bunch (a few at the very least) of people afterwards to see how they feel and let's change the game to take out all the bits that made it compelling and do what they want.
What a brilliant idea,, why didn't we think of that before.

Ergo, If gold and silver draws go down, but XP chance goes up, doesn't it cancel it out?
As it stands, if only 3% of crates are Gold in Non-Deadly Missions (in my data tracking, my results are actually less than 3%), and if 5-10% of those Gold Crates are Epic/Legendary Equipment, then you have way less than a 1% chance of pulling something useful. Add that to the fact that 4 days worth of guild challenge missions result in useless Gear for higher level players. So, those players have 3 days worth of missions a week where they can try to find useful Epic/Legendary Equipment from mission crates. Removing Deadlies pretty much takes away any shot at pulling good Equipment, since actually finding a great piece of gear from an XP or Food mission is as likely as me finding a girlfriend with 3 boobs.
If they compensate by adding more gold/silver crates to higher level Guild Missions, I would be okay with that, or some way of giving a better chance at better rewards (mainly EPIC/LEG equipment) from mission crates. Perhaps reducing the % of Rare Equipment from Gold Crates, and adding that % to Epic/Legendary Drops would do some good.
All I can say is thank goodness for Epic/Legendary TG crates, otherwise getting great Equipment in this game would be nearly impossible for the free player. Hopefully NG learned from having Lucille in the TG store, and will add more high-quality weapons to the TG store. People sure seemed to like playing Outposts a lot more when people had to save higher amounts of TGs (or maybe it was only those supposed bots based on what others have said, but saving for Lucille had to help.)

With the removal of deadlies from the game completely, there is no point in even having a memorial. The members of the "Empty Memorial Club" lose all bragging rights. Those of us that are close to having the 500 deadly achievement will never be able to get it now. I have 400+ deadlies right now and NO chance of completing that achievement before release.
I haz sad.
But to me, those times when my heart skipped few beats when I've stayed farming and let that walker get to my survivor starting strugle... Those moments defined the best moments of TWD. That time I couldn't play for 5 days waiting for maintenance reset after épic fail trying to save my first legendary...
Don't know if I care about The Walking Might Need a Bandage....
For real adrenaline rush, imagine if every challenge/mission/Raid was a deadly. Crazy! That would give the feeling of living in apocalyptic uncertainty. Whereas, currently, I go through most of this safe game like this....
I will also miss the higher chance of gold tickets, but we'll see what the update will bring to balance that.
