As long as we can still get higher chances of finding gear there then it's all good with me. I hope they just got rid of the deadly and made it a regular mission and nothing else. Unless they increased the chances of finding worthy weapons because I never find shit there lol

I liked the deadlies because of the better rewards it offered. I never lost a survivor because I didn't even bother to farm on deadlies. I never flee either so I never got stuck losing a survivor permanently because I fled on a deadly.

I guess we get the same types of rewards from buying the gold crates but I will miss the deadlies.

I would like to see them stay but the balance was wrong.

They were no way harder than a normal mission and the increased chance whilst there you didnt generally notice it.

I warned people about running to buy all those weapon packs. Now ngo is looking for more ways to take good weapons and good gear out of the drops. Guess they figure why give the cow away when people are willing to buy the milk? Helloooooooo! Wake up everybody you are dealing with a company not your bestie!!! Stop. Buying. Those. Packs!

    I didn't play those Missions
    - High gas cost
    - Poor rewards
    - Lack of gold tickets. Was more few months back

So basically I will not miss it...

One of the best features of the game in my humble opinion.

When I first started I lost lots on deadly missions as my in game 'Memorial' will testify but then I just love the drama and the little bit of tension they bring.

That's Tension and not attention that a lot around here crave and need

Wow you can die while playing this game...

NextGames's, " Personal Liability Insurance Premiums " must be exorbitant...
I am easily confused by other people's, laziness and sloppiness and greed...

Any guess who might " now " be on my list, ( in 2017 )

I hope they decide to do Deadlies as weekend events with a guarantee of like 3 Gold and 3 Silver crates to open. It was frustrating to do a deadly mission and have 1-2 silver crates to open. Really? I stopped doing them because the risk-reward wasn't there.

I wonder what the original developers think about removing deadly elements?

I can hear then now discussing the following

Let's make a fantastic world class, top free app with in-app purchase game based on where players characters get killed on missions and then what we should do after we have done that is then listen to a bunch (a few at the very least) of people afterwards to see how they feel and let's change the game to take out all the bits that made it compelling and do what they want.

What a brilliant idea,, why didn't we think of that before.

I'm hoping it's a temporary thing because of the reconnection issues and being unable to replace lost characters that die because of bugs. Because I do like the thrill of maybe losing a favorite character. Even if the metrics show I didn't do them often.

    Haha I'm a minority here.
I don't play deadly anymore so I won't miss it.

If no more deadlies, then do chance of gold and silver ticket go down? Or not? Statistically speaking based on compiled data

Ergo, If gold and silver draws go down, but XP chance goes up, doesn't it cancel it out?

I haven't been a regular player of the deadlies but played them on and off occasionally. I didn't really find the rewards worth the risk so personally wont miss them but not really understanding why they are being removed .. I cant see the harm in leaving them as they are and players having the choice to play them or not

@eetu why not just leave deadlies as a choice in 1.9. This is very clear by the polls

Since there's really no risk of losing survivors unless you are severely hammered or paying no attention , as long as crate drops are still better than other missions , I am ok with it. I had a much bigger issue with the removal of the challenge deadlies.. I liked that part of the game and thought it made it unique.. quite the adrenalin rush at times

I need a "I don't care" option. I don't really bother with Deadlies anymore, unless I choose one on a whim. After I finished the 500, I just didn't see a point. All those Deadlies I played, and I never really saw any better rewards being given, so why risk my people that I worked so hard to find and upgrade?

I am pleased they are gone from the challenges. That said, the deadly explorations and occasional ones in storyline are in keeping with the TWD universe. I would like to see them stay. Additionally, I think having a deadly put in as a 7th, optional mission that gives double stars in challenges would be a boon.

With the removal of deadlies from the game completely, there is no point in even having a memorial. The members of the "Empty Memorial Club" lose all bragging rights. Those of us that are close to having the 500 deadly achievement will never be able to get it now. I have 400+ deadlies right now and NO chance of completing that achievement before release.

    I haz sad.

I accepted loosing deadly challenges, as so many were so buthurt of those.

But to me, those times when my heart skipped few beats when I've stayed farming and let that walker get to my survivor starting strugle... Those moments defined the best moments of TWD. That time I couldn't play for 5 days waiting for maintenance reset after épic fail trying to save my first legendary...

Don't know if I care about The Walking Might Need a Bandage....

Ehhh, not important to me, but since it's clearly important to others, I have no problems if they kept/reinstate it.

For real adrenaline rush, imagine if every challenge/mission/Raid was a deadly. Crazy! That would give the feeling of living in apocalyptic uncertainty. Whereas, currently, I go through most of this safe game like this....
