@Neil_J good suggestions all around. The more people post the higher priority they should take.
@jester@SlickRick@Japes87 I would like to know the list of priorities that are being discussed, going to be discussed and just on the list. If you are going to be the communities representatives, the least you can do is be transparent to us. I truly want to know if you have my and the communities best interests at heart.
We've received feedback from here and through all the guilds represented in the guild council. There were a lot of issues noted and a lot of creative solutions presented. Realistically, they can't all be addressed at once.
Based on all the feedback received, we identified three immediate properties in which to begin the dialogue. Those issues are:
1) The token economy 2) Radio availability 3) Low level challenge grinding
We're working on presenting these issues along with potential solutions. In the future, now that communication have been opened, we'll certainly be able to address additional issues.
We endeavor to be transparent, but we only formed a little over a week ago and are trying to figure out how to best work this, on the fly. Feel free to ask any questions here and we'll do our best to answer.

Hello all, This seems to be a well coordinated approach to streamline ideas/issues and communicate to the Devs. I must admit i am a bit lost on some of the terminology used when discribing issues, maybe as i just registered here today, but play since game launched.
-does low lvl grinding mean going through 120food/xp rewards missions during challenges? If yes, i support that one! - I was glad to see the lvl cap to be removed from survivors, but would appreciate the same for the weapons. - please add the survivor class selection icon for when you go on missions...swiping through 21 survivors if you want to use one class only is painful. - maybe increase the healing spots from 3 to 5+ or offer a second hospital. Alternatively give some survivors field medic capabilities that take 0,5 turns or even 1 turn. - xp tents at their current production rate are useless, i support this initiative. - the token system for me is just about luck, however, the different lvls of token needed per character is a bit odd in my opinion. - frequency of radios....if you need more than you randomly get and are not patient enough to collect, pay for more. I am patient & stingy :-) - do something about the memorial tent...or convert it into a tool shop where you can upgrade weapons in regards to trades rather than strength. - the cost of upgrades using gold is ridiculous in my eyes....that you can collect lots of gold over time is nice though which is not very common in games. - please make the "horde" in front of the base a permanent change...this one offers more rewards, more radios and gas. - gives us bows please.
I suppose i will stop here with my first post and the words: Great work and thank you to the Council! Keep it up. Thanks for reading, Marco282 Elder of Bows n Arrows
@jester Nice work and thanks for the update, although the I'm surprised that xp tents weren't on the list. It's surely the oldest complaint on here.....
“You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only option.” (Bob Marley)
@Neil_J xp tents they will most likely adjust at some point anyways and we will be able to discuss smaller issues moving forward , the big ones are the ones that will stop more of our friends from quitting.. we had each guild prioritize their top 3 issues they wanted addressed and went with the majority
@jester i am surprised as well. The low level challenge grinding was mentioned but not nearly as big of concern as other issues. I asked for a more complete rundown of the suggestions in sequence of priority, not just the top three. This way the community can have a chance to discuss and decide for themselves. Also, can you elaborate on exactly what we are shooting for with these priorites? Are we going for a two token system? Or a class token system? What changes are we proposing? Yes the council has been around a week. In this game a week is a long time. Long enough to table ideas and have results bounced back to us.
Who decides what is priority? Is it council or community?
The way i understand it, is that the council represents the community much like a lawyer would represent a client. They are or should be chosen by the client so that they feel they are most fairly represented. Also, the lawyer does not have say, but offers advice, leaving the decisions up to the client (community in this case). Granted this is a utopian mentality on this big of scale but the system works.
But, the past weeks I've come to the point I can hardly get myself to start the game and do more of those boring challenge missions. The loading it horribly slow, it takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete one challenge mission. And I need to complete like 50 or more of them to get anywhere that is rewarding to myself. (Except for the TG ofcourse, but I don't care much for that, since my gear is good enough atm).
So: The grinding. The very low rewards. Even the TG rewards is a bit nonsensical to me.
I am currently considering leaving the guild, for their own good. Because I am currently considering only loading the game to empty my farms etc and do nothing else whatsoever for while.
Maybe in time my base will get stronger that way so that I can again complete some of the story missions. Those have come to the point of impossibility now to me.
So. perhaps the council can distill some imput from the above that helps finetune the goals.
Perhaps all that will contribute to a future update that brings the game back to something fun.
@jester Oh i see, so only the guilds within have a say and reap any rewards. This really has nothing to do with the actual community then? Please clear this up for me and the rest of the community.
That's funny because SlickRick in his OP names "all players" right in the opening line. @SlickRick Care to chime in and clear this up?
Why do you feel entitled to an answer to all your questions when you can't answer one very simple question? You're clear intent is to cause trouble here. Good day sir.
@jester Oh i see, so only the guilds within have a say and reap any rewards. This really has nothing to do with the actual community then? Please clear this up for me and the rest of the community.

I think the situation is fluid based on what @jester mentioned. (Think I have it right.) Based on the number of guilds involved and players in those guilds that are part of the council, sorting through to find the Top 3 probably was good effort. I believe there are many levels of players in the guilds involved, though I could be wrong. (i.e., probably new players and high level players all had a say through the guild to be filtered to a smaller list.)
Of course everyone has a different set of priorities/wish list, but the 3 main points is probably a good start. (The XP and time to upgrade things and gas would be two things I would kick in.) But the token system seemed to be the one the caused the uproar for many, so if it is being addressed for heroes and regular survivors, I think all can benefit no matter the level or if you are a guild member or solo. (More so with radios being addressed.) The low level grinding eventually becomes a grind to some degree when playing the game for awhile. The first few times you see a map, even maybe 6 times, probably it remains interesting. Otherwise the grind weighs.
The gas and being able to run missions more often is one I would like to see addressed. A bit of a reduction in gas costs, or perhaps increasing mission car cap a bit and reducing gas refill time, could help in addressing the other issues. There is a balance there due to booster sales and other things. There is probably a sweet spot where sales and money is still generated while not getting in the mindset of checking back in four hours when the gas is full again.
I already PMed you and explained all of this...I believe you're reading too much into this
This was formed very quickly...but there are over 40 guilds and easily over 1000 players represented...this includes a cross representation of all levels of players from new to old...so yes I would argue that we have a very good sampling of the community.
It would take 3 years to get every player on this forum to give a list of their most important issues...and then another 3 years to get them all to vote on said list...so we went off the lists and votes provided by the guilds and players represented by the GC to address the most important issues
If you knew me you would know none of this helps me personally...I can just buy whatever I need in the game...I personally am doing this (1) on principle and (2) because I love the game and want to help all players
Myself and the people in the GC have put more time into this than you know...and I know personally I don't have a lot of free time nor do I like wasting it...if you or anyone else wants to support us we just ask that you be positive and constructive...if you don't then there are countless other negative threads to partake in
Thanks
You better check yo self before you wreck yo self...cuz I'm bad for your health, I come real stealth
Wouldn't most players end up naming the same grievances in their personal top 10? To ask every single player for their opinion is unworkable and unrealistic. From what I've seen, many many players were contacted via their guilds and given a place to talk through suggestions and improvements. The most requested changes have been taken to the devs.
Personally, I'll take Any improvement gained through the council and thank the guys for meeting with ng. Hopefully more meetings and more improvements will follow.
I, in no way speak for everyone/anyone in the Guild Council, although I am a member!
This is purely my own opinion! As far as things with highest priority... Imo, the highest priorities were the issues that were making people quit and want to close their wallets.. Token system was at the top.. Coinciding with that, was the availability of radios (direct correlation with token system)!
Nobody is leaving the game due to the XP tents or wanting reduced fuel costs.. Unless I am way off base on that!?
I have taken suggestions from my guilds and also from the community feedback from the forum to make the suggestions I have to the Council!
Please have patience... I for one think this is a great step in the right direction and hope everyone in a guild or not can see some light moving forward!
Let's stay optimistic and have faith that the Council is working for every players best interest!
Edited to add: The comment about the amount of time that the Council and especially @SlickRick and @jester have put into making all of this happen has been enormous and in no way expected from either of them, and has been greatly appreciated!

@jester Please tell me where I asked personal questions about you or your guild? Nowhere. I don't care what guild you are a part of, nor should you care what guild i am a part of.
The whole point of forming the council was to represent the masses, present information, work with NG to satisfy ALL the players and overall provide the transparency that the players were looking for. I know that there are thousands of suggestions and millions more unspoken. I was asking the questions for you to answer as i feel the information the council has provided thus far to players and members of this forum is insufficient. This is why I ask questions. You CHOSE to be where you are. The responsibility was not thrust upon you. I know the commitment that you volunteered for, I do not wish it on anyone, but alas, it was your decision that put you there. So, if you cannot provide answers to simple straightforward questions as to the direction the council is going or wishes to go then how are we to know that this is what the community wants?
I'm not here to cause trouble. I am here, asking questions to get answers that i think that would absolve the transparency issue, as well as provide us with some insight as to the direction of the council. I'm not attacking you or slickrick for any of this. I want to know what i (all of us) can look forward to from my (our) vested interest and support. I want to know and feel like this is worth the time, effort and interest or just a waste of time. This is a simple request for information. Do you not have a list of priorities past the first three? Do you not have a game plan for after the council has achieved its first results?
I am not in any way saying that the council is a bad thing. It is a step, a step that is necessary to at the very least get answers that we have asked the devs for, for awhile now. Do i agree with how the council was formed? not in the least, but its what is here and it is what we have. Moving forward I hope that the council does do good things and it doesn't end up with the same courtesy that the devs lend us now, vague answers only when coaxed and prodded by someone of stature.
At the end of the day, I still respect the figureheads of the council for the hard work they have put in and putting themselves out to help the player base as much as they can.
You can take this as you will jester, constructive or not.
@SlickRick I recognize the fact that you probably pay 80% of NG's staff to support your addiction. I recognize that you are working hard toward a goal that will provide the players with some relief from the madness (that is NG). When we see the fruits of your labor I will be the first in line to thank you for your time and efforts.
@Rorshack not saying you or mentioning names on here, but personally staying out of the drama on here due to these times as none of that matters & is very counterproductive to helping resolve the issues at hand. With that said I am still keeping up with as much info as possible towards the goal of the council created & reading between the lines where I can & trying to listen to players points & concerns where valid & having as much patience as possible hoping for a good outcome for all players across the board big & small, but quit chiming in as personally I'm sick of all the bickering amongst ourselves & with & against ng as well, & just tired of it all & want a peaceful resolution. Anyways @jester is also dealing with a lot of concerns & dealing with many issues himself, & I'm sure only asked what guild you were in, so he could quickly check the list to see if you had a guild rep or your leader in the other chat to bring info to you guys of what's happening so far, as there's not only reps from guilds in the top 50 but also the little guilds not on the board & not to mention all the subsidiary guilds inbetween. So it's not easy to contact at least 1 player from all those guilds but nearly impossible to pm everyone so requires a lot of help from others. The council does not want to post everything discussed in forums & doesn't want even though it's bound to happen & happening people involved or who came into these private but slightly public chats to go rogue & start to & continally attacking NG on the forums as that solves nothing & makes things worse & not the reason for creating this. They do have even more private chats as it's easier to work in small groups, but taking in as much info from guild leaders, elders, reps as possible, constantly checking forums to get info & then taking it all to the round table so to speak with ng & then slowely releasing info back to the leaders then the public, it's a vicious cycle really lol. I'm sure just like NG the council won't get everything right & it's impossible to please everyone & not afraid to say myself that I think some issues should be higher on the totem pole then others, but I do know 1 thing that they are trying their hardest to make a serious change for the betterment of the games future & im sure not everything will be resolved or goes as planned, but if we get a few solid changes, I think the council did their job & it's a step in the right direction.
@jester@SlickRick I (and I'm sure many independent players echo my sentiments) really appreciate the work you're doing on our behalf.
@Rorshack - ease up man. It's not like the guild is getting paid to do this, and nothing is prohibiting you from contacting NG and "negotiate" your own personal solution. You make a lot of good points, but seem to be a little impatient. Change is going to take a bit of time and sniping at the guild consortium isn't going to speed it up.
For now, foot dragging is only affecting NG's revenue. Until they address our concerns more than "were looking into it" many of us are not spending $$.

2. Increase/allow for option to trade in tomato/XP/TG for radios as a feature and generally increase probability of radios
3. Make the tokens universal for the Heros to be applied to who we want. 14 token classes insane
4. Give us an iconic Daryl crossbow that is not capped, with better traits and is actually usable vis a vis survivor reference level
