    My idea (said it before somewhere). Just have a autocover button next to the fastforward button.
    So you can toggle between autocover or not.

    Or change the entire mechanics of the game to let us choose where we want to shoot from.

    PVP in this game is really stupid. Enhancing the current PVP game dynamics is just a bad idea and a serious waste of time. Especially since the PVE play is being changed due to PVP changes and "improvements".

    Real PVP is putting my toons on one side of a map, another player has their toons on another side of the map, put a bunch of walkers in the middle (of comparable level), start a timer and "GO". Each player will get a turn to move their toons how they want (not how the computer wants them to move) and whoever survives, wins.

    The current PVP is really just a joke.

    Hmmm I never had any issue with it. My team is always placed where I wanted.
    I don't say it shouldn't be improved...

    Heres some exclusive details given to content creators regards some fundemental changes to Outpost in Version 2.1.

    Please bear in mind we were given a written list and havant played the new version so whilst clarification was sort these are my opnions based on the information given.

    Apolgise also for the overloud game music, its fine on my source file but You Tube has worked its magic and fooked it up.

    Some good changes for once and one potential howler as you will see.

    From the description under @Poppy 's video, just a copy/paste:

    The Outposts will be streamlined in order to make the attacks faster and improve the PvP experience!

    All Outpost changes:

    • No longer lose Trade Goods when raided!

    • Streamlined raids
    o Modified layout
    o Only one flag outside the gate

    • Flee without injuries
    o Fleeing from the combat no longer requires the player to choose someone to sacrifice
    o Fleeing before getting the first flag will result into loss of Influence, but no injuries

    • Flag is the mandatory first objective after which a survivor can open the gate

    • New reward system:
    o Kill all the Defenders to gain influence
    o Raid the box for Trade Goods

    • Threat triggers only once on the turn after the gate is opened

    • Tier resets will be changed for Cycle 11, starting on the 7th of September:

    o Tier reset has been removed from Gold tiers and below
    o Platinum and Master tier players will be reset in the following way:
     Platinum tier III: 5,000
     Platinum tier II: 5,200
     Platinum tier I: 5,400
     Master tier: 5,600

    Note! Your Outpost layout will be modified automatically after the update to make it more straightforward. If you wish to manage the layout, tap open your Outpost and build a strong defence.

    Possibly. But the content creators were not giving this info.
    There's a couple steps that the update has to go through, and not all of them in the influence of Next.
    Wish it was sooner, I feel really amped about this one (and the next).

    I did mention that towards the end of the video, we asked and didnt get an answer of a live date.

    Its a possible indication of the date but some aspects of the game like event and damage boosts can be changed their side without an update so the value of the cycles could fall under this so using that date could be way off.

    Looks like no negative affects to the Outpost changes. Hopefully these are all the changes and no hidden ones.

    ** Still on a spending boycott of equipment and gas booster and gold.

    Not so sure about the wave of walkers on opening the gate having to combat saviors and walkers together. I always waited to be able to fight the saviors alone.

    Those fairly rare moments that I did play outposts that is.

    Not sure about the effect this change will have on my chances.

    Could you direct me to the source of this info? ... that walkers will be placed behind the gate with the defenders?

    @Poppy (and others too) explains this in his video. If you look at the description underneath his video on Youtube you'll see a word by word list of changes. One line is what this is about, and this is dealt with in more detail in his video:

    All the info we get is in a chat room we have with NG staff, we were given a list of changes which are in my video description and MadPuppy also posted it above.

    Our understanding of the threat triggers line, is as soon as you open the gate the walkers spawn. I dont think they spawn in the base but outside as they currently do essential sandwiching you between walkers at the back and base defenders in front of you.
