Wait, so you can't just magic up some bulletproof code? But in all seriousness, please tell me the fix for disabling auto center when you are in 2x mode and select a survivor on the edge of the screen is in 2.2.
Most sounds great, just hope balancing can be in our favor as well as I am sure we will be losing something. We get used to traits and what works for us so we spend time, sometimes money and effort to obtain and upgrade those weapons and armor with specific traits.
I'm hoping to upgrade my Memorial Tent to the next level by adding a disco ball, strobe lighting, and dance floor. I think the full beer/wine bar will come with 2.3.
@Rick_ZK said: "All trait rebalancing means weaker survivors. Economy improvements Includes more cash to NG, not better in game economy for the players."
I could not disagree with you more, my friend
Methinks 2.2 will offer an avenue to even stronger survivors that are not entirely dependent on a small subset of traits. So that if a seasoned player pulls a legendary without dodge, he doesn't immediately curse under his breath & scrap it. I think 2.2 will make other traits strong enough & useful enough that, when equipped with the right gear, that survivor could still be that seasoned player's best lil ass kicker.
Regarding economy improvements, perhaps you missed the Announcement that is the topic of this thread? Xp tent production (& cross-my-fingers xp capacity) is going to be doubled, challenge rewards are going to be improved, there will be more ways to earn tokens, heroes will be unlocked at higher rarity levels, etc...
So, yeah, I disagree. I am so excited for this update my whiskers are all a-tingle!
@Shteevie Keep the better stuff for last . You should tease us by showing each day part of the hero's body
Spoiler alert: There are toes in 2.2!
We will be 100% spoiler-free, assuming you have been keeping up with the show. We wouldn't want to leak any information that would make the show less fun or exciting to watch, and that would still be true even if we weren't contractually obligated and under pain of super big trouble if we did spoil anything. The sow is great because of the tension, and it's not our place to ruin that.
We have lots of suggestion threads that we do read that are great for collecting opinions and thoughts about future updates, but the content of 2.2 is locked down and has been for some time now.
As for a release date, we can't be exact; approvals, etc. However, you aren't as lacking in information as you may think you are.
In the trait and combat changes, we have specifically targeted those that allow us more room to create new things later, and bring more of our existing traits into viability. We have made some existing traits much better, and will continue to looks for ways to complement or improve the underused traits we may still have in the game. The goal is better balance for everyone, without destroying the gameplay value of what we already have, and what you have already been collecting and working to build.
We're really looking forward to seeing what you have to say about the update when it is released! [Sooooon!]

@MizTy NG have promised improvements before but somehow things always sounds better than they really are. My faith in NG to do something great is very slim. I hope you are not disappointed when NG shows what they have in store for us.

This is why I haven't thrown out my defensive stance survivors yet. I'm not sure how you can improve the trait through. The only useful build is on a warrior with defensive stance, iron skin, retaliate, lucky, and power strike... Overwatch in front of a large group of zombies and let them surround you. 70% DR effective on that overwatch with level 5 abilities and gold iron skin on armor... Then let 'em have it with the pacman arc. But NOBODY is seeking out this combination because it requires 100% of these traits to be viable, and other builds that are easier to get/require less trait synergy are just as effective.
I'd really love to be able to spend tokens to *reroll* a single survivor trait for another random one.
Well what seems sure is the buildings upgrade : I collect now different gears on lvl 20, survivors lvl 20 needed to carry it, and workshop lvl 17 to unlock its traits... that means obviously the whole "coming soon" parts to update, meaning : workshop 17, council max +1, training ground at lvl 19 ( at least, cos certain missions now require lvl 21 survivors to start!), And for the best part, the following of story missions as we wait till the Last episode's cliffhanger ! Seriously men, consider writing a few episodes for AMC ? Still, can't wait for the new character and stories... That thread Will be followed for sure...
Excited for the update , some intriguing stuff there , just a small curiosity @Teeceezy do you know if auto center will finally be fixed ? Hoping it didn't get lost in everything else going on.
@Teeceezy@Shteevie This isust part of the update right? I didn't see new hero introduced?
-Good sleuthing, and to @MadPuppy as well. Let's just say that we carefully planned the content of today's announcement.
So in other words, the hero will be someone that isn't in the show yet, and therefore will need to wait till the character is introduced. (they won't need to wait till the next update, they will have everything ready to go)
Or they have the one they want and a backup, and if the one they want meets Lucille then they will go with their backup

What's the likelihood that NG will let us know a lot of the changes, or will we need to go (bug) test everything for you?
You can go easy on the snide comments, read the rules if you need a refresher @blynknz
As for info, more is coming. Wait it out. It's not constructive at all to criticize something you imagine is going to happen.
Lol. Ok, I will change the way I ask the question for you.
@NG, will we find out about most of the little changes that you are making? Or will they be for us to discover and then to discuss here whether that it was an actual planned change or an unexpected outcome from other changes.

Hmm when it is at the polishing stage, what's in it is in it. Perhaps you can explain each of the improvements and let us debate them. Second, if there is a really good suggestion, try incorporating it.
Anyway I am excited that the update is coming. We would be seeing bugs but we are humans after all.
If any software is bug-free, I'd like to see it and shake the author's hand. Especially so for games.
That said, we did reserve some time in thisdevelipment cycle to attack the bug list, as well as trying to keep it from growing with new feature-related bugs.
I think auto-center is much less of an issue if you play with the speed increased. I don't recall if we looked into it further.
As for patch notes, we already have a pages-long post ready to go that is going to be released writhing 48 hours of the update going live. It contains some info that needs to wait until then for show-info reasons, and also it's better to make those announcements when players can actually play the changes.
As usual, we'll have some hotfixes and whatnot after the update. The ads issue requires ongoing trials to see what works. Hopefully, there's nothing that crops up that prevents you from getting walker brains all over your shirt.

I would like to get another tent two is not enough
Why live in the tents when there's buildings surrounding your camp for better living quality? Maybe NG should overhaul the camp into Alexandria Safe-Zone since we got so many of those heroes in our camp.
Comments
I personally would like that.

"Retaliate does not work on overwatch"
This is another one of my great moments of massive disillusionment of NML...
Why in the world does retaliate currently not work in OW @Shteevie? Perhaps this is being fixed in 2.2?
