Health Bar improvements

@Shteevie it would be very helpful if the developers could make a small improvement to our survivor health bar status by having the bar change from green to yellow when your survivor gets bruised. Currently the green bar gets smaller after a hit from an opponent but you can never be 100% sure if you are bruised or not. I have completed many challenge missions thinking I would receive 3 stars, only to find one of my survivors was bruised and I received only 2 stars. If the health Bar would change to yellow the instant you are bruised, and red the instant you are injured, it sure would be a nice game improvement. Thanks

    I love this idea, but I would also like to be able to access my survivors health numbers, especially when fighting freemen.

    Sometimes I feel like freemen are operating with a different set of rules than my survivors. Watching the numbers would help me understand what's going on & how to improve my game against human enemies :blush:

    Spot on @MizTy! The freemen are on steroids at times. Good to have up-to-date information for succcessful combat missions.

    I agree @MizTy. That's great that @Shteevie thinks they could make this change quickly, but I would still like to see a more comprehensive numbers & details while in a mission

    We had a mockup of a character portrait with numbers, traits, and all that included.

    It was ugly as sin. It made the game harder to understand for new or casual players.

    There might be a different solution, if the idea on the backlog works the way I hope it does. We'll find out when we get there.

    Why not just allow us access to the character sheet by pressing on their portait like in character selection? When I need to change my order of actions, I usually just touch the avatar on the map anyway. I am sure I am not the only one, so ot might catch on fairly naturally.

    Like the idea but you'd have to balance the fact that it's how we currently use the charge feature,. but then again,.. Nothing stopping making the avatar a duel touch button :smiley:

    Just use the icon on the top left (the one that is the character level & type.
    Or rework it around. We really don't need the characters to be so large.

    Sounds like a mockup I made a few days ago. It's a UI and code related change, so it can't happen in a day, but it's in the backlog.

    The item is still in the backlog, ready to be acted on as soon as we have the time to do so. Since we are very busy right now with the Challenge Rework and the Season 7 missions for the second half of the season, it is unlikely that this is going to be part of the next update.

    Sorry if that is not the answer you were looking for, but it is the reality of such large changes to the game - they take more people and more time to complete.

    Dang...I was hoping there was going to be a wheat grass health bar for survivor's to check into to get their chakras aligned.

    Didn't there used to be an indication on the survivor's icon on the left? Heck, there should be a health bar there too. It could be bigger.

    Eveythings always on the backlog, relegated to "soon".

    @Amiga half the time bruised doesn't even appear and in up with hospital time and never saw it coming.

    @Gebobs agree, health bar on the icon would be awesome.

    No new movement on this issue to report. Prioritization and re-prioritization occurs regularly, and we select tasks based on the development timeframe and the needs of the players based on recently-released features and such. There are a number of fixes related to turn-by-turn gameplay that would be great to do as a package, but lately it has been a hard conversation whenever we consider adding features to already-full releases.

    There are thing in the works that are direct responses to requests ere and from support, but you'll hear about them just before they go live, as always.
