Raid defenders and hero traits

Like most I have a set team of defenders for raids, sometimes I switch a few around, for lvling purposes, but other then that its pretty much set.

But just a few minutes ago a question popped up.

Do hero traits count for the entire team of defenders aswell?

    Yes if applicable. Glenn and Maggie traits won't work since it's resource related on defense but other Hero traits work.

    Which heroes are best suited for defending your outpost? Since traits don't charge in outpost defense, does anyone have a hero in the leadership position that helps out?

    Im thinking negan, jesus, abraham or carol. Dont have michonne yet, so i wouldnt know her trait. But anyway a hero that doesnt rely on charge

    Rosita combined with two single-target defenders like bruiser, scout or shooter has been very effective in my outpost. 17 percent boost to damage does wonders.

    Leader slot is the one on the far left in your "change defenders" tab, just like for regular missions

    Like Mabiki said, Rosita is best for outpost, even at Rare. Add two more ranged defenders and you're set. ;)

    Does the hero trait survive the hero? So if I kill Rosita first (RIP my sister), do the other defenders still get her boost?

    @MizTy it's situational but I was butchered by all melee teams with Carol/Jesus at the lead, a walk in the park turned into a massacre.
