When it is ok to use Assault Rifle with no spread.

So we all agree gold spread is desired on Assault rifles. Some times is it ok to upgrade and use one with silver spread? How about NO spread?
Well I wanted to share with all an occasion where I have had tremendous success with No spread. Many of the new maps heve efforted to mitigate gold spread by their design. You get cheated by corners of cars and other barriers in the map that cheat off the corners and often i get irritated by missing that one or two targets who looked like they were in the green yet still don't get hit.

Look at the hit difference of 163 between these two equally level rifles, but the no spread has the Gold skull Lethal. That extra 163 at the high levels plus armor pierce chance gold 30% and Lucky 15% silver make this rifle worth it.

Personally,I've had alot of success with a legendary,no spread,this made me realize spread replaces other valuable traits.I know some pple scrap these,but,maybe they should try one.Mine also has gold piercing,its actually helped me beat a few maps where nothing else worked 4 me!

There are some missions where without gold spread you cannot beat. Just my experience. You need two at least with it. Chapter 14, mission 4 nightmare mode being one. I am trying to beat it and have found two assaults with gold spread are needed to stun all them saviors to make it to the end. Still trying it. Also a few challenges ago it was needed to repeat a few missions.

In your photo your luck on the weapon and fighter boost lethal which makes the biggest impact. Your fighter has sure shot so your other rifle works with it well to do more critical damage. See my photos as well.

I have assault weapons with gold spread but my survivors are outgrowing them. I have been reluctant to spend XP upgrading weapons without gold spread but maybe I should try it.

I can work with silver spread too, but my current top weapon has no spread. Two or three more pink stars may make her useful on high level challenge missions.

I play outposts and I need at least a silver spread. I don't even use assaults in challenges when the RSL is higher than my survivors.
