Street Corner Begging Thread

Because of the new wave of badges, we are seeing more people post in the General Discussion Threads looking for more Likes, Agrees. Disagrees, etc. I love badges.

But why not have our own thread just for begging? I'd be like our own street corner where we hold up cardboard signs and wait for traffic to stop. So, to kick it off, here's my plea:

Will Trade Food for Awesomes

I don't like the "begging" for badges, nor will I ever hand one out because someone asks for one. I appreciate what I've been given, we've all worked hard for them organically.

Say "NO" to free reactions (except in @GrimGael's Disagreeable Post -- yet, even in there you gotta be witty to some degree to earn a boo-hiss!)

I just happened to read 13 absolutely awesome posts by @TheLostOnes .....and then coincidentally realized he was only 13 awesomes away from exclusive 500-Awesome badge. What a coincidence! Congrats, man

Is anyone surprised that the Governor (@governater) is trying to get awesomes the easy way? While the rest of us worked hard being funny, likable, agreeable and awesome, here he comes expecting a hand out. Remember what happened to Lilly and Meghan when they tried to help him.

I kind of agree with @Gindy here. I mean what's the point if your LOL/Agree/Whatever totals are super inflated by "fake" reactions..
