Survivor Traits • Revenge: could be useful in close maps (like Archive). Let’s give it a try
I think you might not be interpreting this trait correctly. Revenge is NOT the same as Retaliate. I think Revenge only activates when hit by a ranged attack (e.g., freeman or outpost defender), not when hit by a melee attack.
I did not mean melee. Was think of "Archive" e.G. where I usually use Assaults and Hunter. My reading is that they do a revenge of each other if they are attacked (most of the fights I just stay at the place of the beginning).

I take that back. Never mind @gespuer - you are right. I was actually hoping you were wrong because I don't want to go through the radio/promotion lottery of trying to get Revenge for my ranged survivors, but now it looks like this is a potentially very useful trait to have.
You have got to be joking????? We just had a major upgrade & now another one!!! It was like ages before we had an upgrade from lvl20 to lvl21 & now lvl22!!!!
Why can't NG wait a couple of months, so those who that have brought bundles can get a decent amount of time to use it. suffice to say I won't be buying any of them again, as it will be obsolete weeks later.
Say when will there be an option to upgrade your equipment?
New traits are just another money spinner $$$$.
I will wait & let poor sucker test out if a lvl22 really starts at lvl15 & not lvl16 for challenges.

Yeah or you could try it before jumping to conclusions. I'd say at high-level challenges setting a tough enemy on fire and kiting them seems like a pretty solid strat.
That makes it even worse. Why would we want a trait that makes the enemy more dangerous? Add to that the damage over time of fire taking out walkers and not giving xp for the kill and I think it's safe to say that NG just unseated Defective Stance as the most useless trait.
Remember burning walkers die within 10 turns? This effectively means you could beat any walker (even extremely high level ones) by igniting and evading. The alternative would be to shoot and evade, increasing threat with every shot.
@Helio retaliate is only the survivor that gets attacked. Revenge is the survivors not being personally attacked.
In a way, all of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us.
@Teeceezy The notes state challenge starting level for lvl 22 survivors to stay the same as for lvl 21's at RSL 15. Does that also mean the triple rounds start at 20 for both, or is the triple round pushed to 21?

The triple round is pushed to 21 for a team of 22's.

Question with all due respect @Teeceezy . Will our current survivors be able to obtain the new traits?
No, they won't. Survivors accepted from Radio Calls post-2.6. will be able to get the new traits.
That's. Just. Plain. Unfair. I'm not a hardcore player, but even I have some pinks, which will be not so useful now. And - whatever, after all, they were carefully groomed and have their good sides, I can live with them each not having a Revenge trait. Right until they'll meet in a PvP with some survivors who'll have Ruthless + Revenge, haha, not funny at all.
But I also have some already trained epic survivors with empty fifth trait. Which now is more than useless, since from now on it's gonna be better for players to fish for survivors with the new traits. That is sad.
I was one of the first to talk positive about the update within my guild family. I like many things in it and I think it is a lot better than 2.5.
But afters a few hours of thinking, I feel new content is welcomed, but shouldn't be priority. There are lots of things to fix first. Specially because the update wasn't expected to be like this. Most players were expecting a patch, a fix. Outpost is depressive - just to say an example.
NG, you apparently hate your players. You have to care more about us, treat us better, and more than anything, communicate better. Even if you keep doing what you do, at least TRY to be more discrete. The money rip-off and the "f you" to the players is so obvious right now that even my wife that has never gamed in her life questioned your attitude when I told what's the update to her, as a test, to see if the rage was real.
There are consequences to your choices. You have done bad decisions over the players many many times. Most players hate NG. They love the game, but hate the company. That's what you envision for the future of the company? Is this good energy? Good vibes? Something is wrong. Question yourselves!
@Teeceezy does all have our survivors must be at 22 before starting at 15 and repeating level goes to 21? what about having 30 survivors and upgrading only 29 to level 22?
