Like 99% of us I so don't like silencer, because of the way too low chances. But with the golden luck it's not a complete loss. I would say on some maps with Daryl in lead this weapon might be useful. But the best use is probably to nail it at the gate of your outpost and hope that an attacker sees it, has pity with you and looks for another target

I think if I owned a weapon and it had a "chance" to not make any noise I would think it's broken. Maybe the reason it doesn't work all the time is because it's just a flashlight?
