    Hi,

    In game there is a message saying to update the game so to claim the gift but when i go to App Store there is no update in the "Updates" tab...

    Someone else has the same issue?

    Try force closing the App Store, then heading back in and then to your Updates tab. You can pull down to refresh - see if that helps. :)@Golf4x4

    Same issue here @Golf4x4 . I've refreshed many times, restarted my phone and ipad, etc. The option to "open" the app is there in the app store, but not to actually update it. I'll post a screen shot in a minute

    I thought that, but there is a box in-game that tells me to update. I can't even get in to chat with my guild because a pop-up comes up telling me to "update game now," but I can't.

    Thank you man, i pulled down to refresh and that worked! even when i forced closed the App store and head back again it didnt show the update. Only after pulling down to refresh.
    I guess its due to the new ios and app store.

    I don’t understand. What is ‘pull down to refresh’? I pulled down and got my notifications, but no refresh. Shutting down and restarting my iPad didn’t help either.

    Pull down on the list of Updates awaiting so you get the spinning refresh-y thing. @TransmuteJun

    @TransmuteJun , it took me a while to figure it out. Open app store, tap on the Updates tab. If it's not available for update, you have to "pull down" the screen to make it refresh. Usually, when refreshing things on ios, you pull down from the top, but for some reason, for the app store, at least for the updates, I had to pull down from the middle of the screen (which is probably why it took me so long to figure it out - I was trying to pull down from the top and nothing was happening).

    Thank you @Teeceezy and @DBones . I guess I'm just not technologically-inclined, because it took me a bit to figure it out. Actually, I had to Google it. Apparently tapping the icons and quitting and restarting the App Store no longer work with this new version of iOS. You have to pull down (as DBones said, in the middle of the page is best) and HOLD. Then the spinny circle appears and the refresh comes through. If you pull down and release, nothing happens. If you pull down and release at the top of the screen, you get your notifications. So you have to pull down in the middle of the screen and HOLD.

    I don't know what it is with Apple. This update has been horrible. So many things are broken since I installed it. And this new App Store refresh thing is incredibly unintuitive. And don't get me started on the horrible new remote for the Apple TV. It looks cool, but using it is terrible! A VERY steep learning curve.
