I got it this afternoon as well. I only noticed one change so far, in-game settings menu. They've added a button for Google Play achievements. Must be Android only?
They added episode 13, added red to the walkers, updated weapons, some outfits are cheaper, some extra slots are cheaper, higher level council, ability for other upgrades with the higher council, some walkers seem harder to kill, idk what else
I dont think it would be anywhere near 2gb, most of it would be code, no man's land is 213mb latest update with all it has, need for speed no limits is 871mb and thats pretty much a full game, epoch is 482mb and that has a lot more content and more intense graphics compared to this, the engine is the biggest part of the game, so with this game you could probably triple the content and still be under 500mb maybe even under 400mb
@hottexas, oh i see an update in the play store, sorry for the other info, ill have to check to see whats different, guessing video glitch fix, run paths outside of the camp maybe, and maybe an adjustment on the color surrounding walkers since the red is harder to see
Tried to enter my game today. Then suddenly it could not connect. When I tried again its was gone from my android device. Now I have to start all over why? Can it be restored? If not i'm done with this game. Used months for nothing. Username Avalon using android Device. I was lvl 35 Survivor.

@Avalon84, if you haven't done so please use the in app contact us feature to contact support, please read the FAQ, it asks for specific information. Your game is saved in google play. Good luck and have patience.
Like: - new outfits and reduced cost of the outfits! I am finally getting myself some - New episode 13 - new weapon designs look cool, but have obviously no effect on gameplay - the game app seems to be more forgiving now when I switch between apps; it used to reload EVERY time from scratch, which got really, really annoying. Many times I can now switch and it simply reconnects, done. - new training and workshop lvls, finally I can BUILD and train something! - opening crates can apparently leave you with 1AP for overwatch
Dislike: - Reduced survivor lvls from hard/nightmare episodes! - Starz glitch in challenges (sudden jump of starz and lvl, some count, some don't) - Red label over walkers, unreadable to me; the symbol could stay red, but the level and the health bar need to be clearly readable - not a big fan that resources didn't matter for a long time, helping mid-lvl players to massively catch up. Maxed-out players had virtually nothing to do. Why did I spend hours and days meticulously farming, building and farming when in the end it pretty much comes for free? - No exploit fix (but promised) for the forest challenge, can be massively abused, leaderboards are becoming more a sign of who exploited more - opening crates should always take only 1AP, ie 2nd AP can be used to move or attack, not just overwatch - not a single suggestion from the vast pool of ideas on the forum have been turned around. That is possibly the most depressing fact. Why do we care again?
We had someone join our guild this morning and by their name it's says "Players stars are withheld for the duration of the challenge". Can someone please tell me what that means?

That was part of the new update to stop guild hopping in the middle of a challenge. Your new member can't contribute to the guild star total until the new challenge starts on Sunday.

That makes sense, but now we have someone who's been with us for a couple weeks now and he went from 146 stars to zero and says the same thing about him, so can you explain that?

Thank you for the feedback. It is highly valued! The turnaround time for fixes and changes is a lot longer than many realize (two months is about the right ballpark for anything non-critical), and things like "why do we get visual footpaths when there's still this big, glaring bug in the ring" tend to come down to "this guy was available, and he could do this one cool feature, but the other guy who could fix the big bug was busy with something else, of even higher importance".
Thanks for sharing @OldGoth. I don't mean to be a smart ass, but would like to state the obvious anyhow:
You need to reconsider turnaround time. You need to train more people in more areas so that more developers can share the work rather than some tasks needing to wait on dedicated staff.
Given that the path maker person should be available for a new task now here are a few graphics oriented simple things that I believe would make actual difference.
The actual development time for most new things, after it has been designed (planned), is up to two weeks. That is not a long time in software development. Any changes apart from critical fixes need to be bundled into big releases, which requires us to test basically all the functionality and content of the game, and fix any discovered bugs. This takes a lot of time; a minimum of two weeks. It's a big game. Then it's in submission with Apple and Google for a period of time that's not up to us.
It's rare that a gaming company talks about its development methods and cycles to players, props to @OldGoth. Though it would be nice to sort out auto zoom
Two weeks is not a long time at all for software development. Kudos to the software team for being so responsive and listening to player feedback. I know it's a lot of work to prepare an update. The frustrating part is there will always be someone complaining about it, no matter what the changes are.
One weird thing I've noticed: when I leave the page where we chose what equipment a survivor will have, it returns to the page where all of the survivors are in a row and, sometimes, for a few seconds, I see their names in a different language, usually an Asian language. Then that is gone and I see their names in English.
It doesn't happen all the time. I'm trying to pin down when it happens and when it doesn't.
@Motown Run exploration missions, grind 'em out. If you have 7-4 or 9-3 ( I think its 9 -3) available, those are great places to pick up a bunch. Camp zombies give a little. You can scrap crappy equipment or retire a survivor that you're sure you won't need. It can be tedious, but it is this or use gold. The forum is a great resource, and is pretty searchable. Best luck!
