Do Badges Work For Defenders in Outpost?

I have read from people in the past in the forum that badges for defenders of outposts do not work.

So I want to know a definitive answer please. If I badge my baddest of the bad defenders to the hilt, will they have the increased stats from the badges while defending? Thank you in advance.

No, badges don't work for OP defenders. The first free badge unequipping event was based on this discovery by the players.

No. Do not waste your badges by putting it on outpost defenders...unless you are the type who always swapping your defenders

I have a Bruiser sitting in my Outpost without a badge, but my Shooter and Assault are badged up. I use them for OP raiding.

Again, I’m sure it’s been answered, do HERO TRAITS apply on Outpost defenders?

Yes. if you put a hero as the leader.

Special hero trait is applicable if the hero is also the outpost leader. Eg..carl with his second chance trait..

Yeah I've come up against Carl in outpost. I had one of the defenders get a second chance and a third chance!
