Because at the end of the day, these are just intangible digital pixels, of which a developer has an unlimited supply to sell us. Smart marketing is understanding that players can immediately assess in under 5 seconds of looking at a bundle and determine whether it’s a good value or not. (of course “value” is inherently subjective; dependent on where that player falls on the P2P vs F2P spectrum).

Kaz once referred to a mysterious “bundle guy” of NG, one who has never shown his face here; the one who lurks in the shadows (and by “shadows” I mean probably an office cubicle). The Keyser Soze of NML. And he’s gotten real savvy...
