Hello,

the weapons are displayed realy nice with much details. Hope you can do the same with armors. Hope the appearence of the surivors changes depending of the equip they are wearing.

Thanks in advance

Greetings

If they did that, no one would buy outfits for their characters

    People actually buy the outfits?

We've considered doing it. It is far from trivial. The real reason for not doing it is allowing more colorful character models; the worry is that otherwise in no time at all of your characters will look the same, unless we make an extensive armor customization mode, too, which is probably not going to happen.

I like this idea a great deal and have often wondered if it would ever be implemented. I wouldn't mind if characters looked similar as how often to you use 3 of the same skill anyway?

A light version of this idea:

Per survivor e.g. 4 (or more or less) outfit tiers. Than splitting the equip to this tiers, and for every tier a bit difference in the appearence of this character.

E.g. if your character wears a tier 1 armor its normal. If he changes to a (higher lvl) tier 3 armor he got a cooler appearence with metal plates and some protection stuff.

Like that you "only" need some modified models for every charactermodel, but much more easier than a armor model.

Or make the "appereance tiers" bound to the level. With this you can tune up the outfits in the same way. If a survivor is lvl1 the outfit looks normal, with max lvl with metal plates or some gimmicks....

The spirit of this idea is: we want to see that our chars get stronger! Its an important part of the immersion.
