Double It...great gift, but will it extend into Challenge?

Happy Holidays Kaz and NG Staff (because Kaz will always come first)

Noticed in-game that the great, super cool “Double It” is ending in 1 day, 14 hours. That is also when the Challenge begins.

The Challenge has a “Double It” marker by it, leading me to believe that it will be part of the Challenge, but the math doesn’t add up.

Will this great event extend into the Challenge?
