What is the best effect and bonus condition for a badge?

When you craft a badge using a certain recipe, like MeEdChCl, you can know which effect and bonus condition you will get if you know which pattern you are on. And if you want to change your pattern you use a special recipe: MeMeMeCh, MeMeMeCl, ChChChEd, ClClClCh, like mentioned here: https://forums.nextgames.com/walkingdead/discussion/comment/393749/#Comment_393749


So if you want a legendary DR-badge with no bonus condition, then you can use your common components to craft until you reach the DR-spot in your pattern, and then use legendary components and get a DR-badge.

By looking at your bonus-conditions you can see which pattern you are currently on.

When picking a spot where you want to use your legendary components you have to consider which effect you want and which bonus condition you want. And here comes my question. Which bonus conditions are the best for the different effects?

As you want to use as many spots in the patterns as you can the more bonus effects that can be considered best, the better.

I have made a suggestion by setting a number to the right of the bonus effects for traits. 2/3 means that 2 out of 3 bonus effects on this place in the pattern can be considered as the best. I think traits are the best because they will always match. Do you agree?

Set bonus gives 20%
Bonus condition gives 25% (The numbers might be rounded down on the badge, but they are 25%: https://forums.nextgames.com/walkingdead/discussion/comment/374612/#Comment_374612)
(No bonus condtion gives 10% better badge)
So the best is to combine set bonus and bonus condition.

    What complicates things further is that shape in not completely random, as this chart of the shapes in the 1-DR-pattern shows, the column numbers does not match with the column number from the pattern:

    Actually a badge can be one of three directions. Either East, North West or South West, or West, North East or South East.

    Ever wondered why you have more of a certain shape? One of the patterns have 11 of the West, North East and South East and 8 of the other, while the 6-DR pattern are more balanced.

    Cell: F190 and F192, you had SW and E respectively, which contradicts your table which says W (=W/NE/SE) for directions.

    Could you recheck your entire table with regards to direction data?

    I just checked Magic's spreadsheet. It looks like @magic missed a badge at row 138. So everything is off starting at row 138.

    After compensating for that, everything looks good.

    You are both correct. My direction table was off by 3 from the pattern table, so the column numbers where I had found directions didn't match with the row numbers in the pattern table. And the magic-sheet lacked a correction of a missing crafting, which was in the recipe-sheet. I think I have corrected both errors.
