Do you like the change to two challenges a week?

So we changed to two challenges a week with only an hour down time, is this good or bad for the game.

Are you happy with the change or do you think it allows very little time to play the other content the game offers or are you simply not intrested in guild play at all.

Voted no, if you want to compete as a guild this system allows no downtime and means you can't experience the other content of the game without using fuel which could go towards earning stars.

Plus as more content is added such as outpost, when are we supposed to experience that.

There is no other content in this game to experience if you are this hardcore into the guild aspect.

Let's get real, this is a crybaby thread because your guild can't keep up a proper roster to play two challenges without losing steam. Nobody cares about your post.

You see how annoying it is to have to read my comment after just making your post? Maybe the next time you decide to shit up someone else's thread, you can extend them the same courtesy and keep your useless post to yourself.

you forgot "Yes, but then i peak as to how stars i can get, so then i play the rest of the game's content." - - The uptick in challenge difficulty plus lowering the gas requirement has allowed for this.

One per week leaves more room for other contents and is more casual gamer friendly.

Two per week and such a short time is simply too much. I think they went the wrong direction with the scaling. Make it really fast to get through the first few levels, but then slow it down a lot for like... 10+ so that there's more 'meat' to the challenge.

I agree with the scaling probably need a separate poll on that too as that's another issue entirely as the new systems not right.

2 challenges a week is terrible. For those of you with absolutely nothing better to do, feel free to enjoy it. for those of us with real lives, its an absolutely ridiculous idea to try and stay on top of this 7 days a week. Yet another terrible idea by NG.

One challenge a week gave casual players a weekend day to play. Everyone had a chance to get into the top end of their star making capability and contribute to the guild.

I'm going to stick with no unless the quality of guild rewards in this arrangement significantly improves.

I like the shorter duration of the challenge 3 days. It could be changed to 4 days, but only at 1 challenge a week. The rewards on low level missions are useless to higher level players. The only thing they're good for is Stars. The stars are only good for bragging rights! They have nothing to do with going forward in the progression of the actual game.

People who have maxed out characters, and maxed out armor and weapons have nothing to do but wait for a new challenge. Others, who haven't even started hard mode yet are way behind, and really don't have time to help their guild.

If you could buy something with the stars, it would be worth the effort in challenges to get more. As far as the actual game goes, the challenges are fun, but it's not the main reason people come here to play.

Limit challenges to 1 per week, and leave it at 3 days. Leave more time to play the game to upgrade stuff! NG could actually make challenges more difficult, and only the powerful players dare to attempt doing them.

    Sorry, I'm ranting...

I can see how this would frustrate the higher level players. Useless rewards feel pointless.

As for bragging rights, life is so much easier not playing "Mine is bigger than yours". But that's me.

I'm torn on this one. I like having the change to a new challenge in a shorter time - just to have something new to do. But I also understand what everyone else is saying and how it can be a detriment to the guilds who are accustomed to having an entire week to build up stars.

    1. Did they also reduce the amount of stars required for each reward tier? If not, they should have.
    2. I don't know the reasoning behind this decision - so it's kind of hard to know if all interests were balanced or not.

I think if everyone changed their expectations on the number of stars they can get, it might be less frustrating.

    Exactly!

And that's why the leader boards need to be wiped. So it's all starting from scratch using the new expectations.

I would prefer 1 guild challenge per week. 7 days in a row with only a one hour breather is too much. Many people are moving on to other games do to this change. @Teeceezy Change needs to happen quick because your players are dropping like flies!

@Dale I get that too. That needs to happen.
I just joined a guild yesterday - so I'm just really learning how it all worked before the change.

my answer would be: yes, but my focus is elsewhere. ;)

why anyone would complain about the possibility to gain more stars i don't understand. the time issue is the same - no matter if we have 24/7 challenges or only weekends. i for example play mostly during the week at office breaks or in the metro. in the evenings or on weekends i'm usually busy with friends and play less. so for me it is a good thing.

i definitely like the faster increase in difficulty and lower gas prices but this 3 day challenge is really demanding if you're an adult with a job. would prefer a structure with 4-5 day challenge mon-thu/fri then weekend of no challenge with weekend events when you can farm and take advantage of whatever event is happening.

We have players that are not even trying now, they feel defeated before they even get started. Our guild is losing stars, morale is low. I hope they change things for the better soon before ours fizzle out. Love the game, not the way it is scheduled.

I like to play a lot, but I can feel burn out coming. I see more 0s and low stars in my guild page. This is too much for most people, especially those with busy lives.

Also, for higher level players having those worthless low level missions with low rewards take up too much time. Maybe they should start at a higher levels based on what level the player is. Then, when we hit the high level missions, they jump up too quickly to an insane level beyond what can be done where it is pointless to try (when it is not a challenge anymore but folly-a waste of gas), especially when it seems like you cannot rescue lvl 16+ survivors in story missions (or has this been fixed?).

Requiring more challenge stars for rewards is also hurting things for players. I still cannot tell whether the issue of the guild or personal reward for higher level star levels has improved or not. Usually the epic or legendary rewards drop early and then I get useless rare ones for the 200+personal or 2000+guild rewards. What is the point of grinding out to get the high level rewards if this is the case? This seemed to knock the wind out of many of my guild mates when people(and guild) were hitting these rewards and got less useful rewards. Many people either cut back on guild missions or dropped out.

Having said that, I do like the lower gas levels for missions and adding in new challenges (the herd event was good too). Thanks for that. I wanted to end with something positive since I do enjoy this game : )

Would prefer 1 challenge a week with a 1 day break just like the old schedule, or 2 challenges a week but split into 3 days each.

Either way, I like to have a day's off at least to maybe catch up on other things or simply rest.

Agree that the challenge rewards are really discouraging; I stopped at 181 stars for this week's challenge because I received 2 level 12 rare gears for reaching the 180 stars tier. Why would they be of use to me when my survivors are level 15 and using fully upgraded level 14 weapons?

To achieve 60 more stars to reach the next tier at 240 stars, is not enticing at all because I am facing level 16 walkers upwards to be rewarded with gears I will definitely scrap?

The change was too extreme. There needs to be some downtime. I'm very active in my guild, but tempted to say forget that, I want to enjoy the game, not be after challenges that don't give any decent rewards.
