Gas regeneration time

This game is fun and random. If you fail in a mission and go back in, your enemies are in different places. Random! What I don't care for is the 10 minute wait to get a can of gas. If this period was reduced to 5 minutes, it would speed up the game, and allow you to spend more time playing instead of waiting.

You could even buy a period of time with tomatoes or gold to decrease gas regeneration time for a period of time. 12 hours or so? Seriously think of reducing the time to get 1 can of gas, to 5 or 6 minutes, instead of 10.

    ya, in the beginning of the game (episode 1 is introduction, lets say episode 2) you can play a mission every 20 min. in episode 13 you can play one mission every 60 min.

    by increasing the mission vehicle, time needed for the refill should be decreased. 5 min sounds like a good time when maxed out, means one mission every 30 min in episode 13 or a complete refill in 1:45 hours. to compare again, a complete refill in the beginning of the game takes 1 hour or 1:30 after the first (cheap) upgrade.

    10 minutes is to control your addiction to the game and do some real life tasks while waiting for gas.

    i think 6minutes is the sweet spot.
    this is the time used by many games and this has been suggested a hundred times...
    I wish NG would see how this would probably increase their revenue and not hurt it while pleasing the users at thew same time, but after it being suggest so many times and ignored.....i don't think we'll see it. :(

    I prefer to store gas and play when I have time for it instead to play when refill is done.
    To many duties outside the game ;))

    many games allow storing "energy" beyond the cap, but only from bonus rewards not based on regen time.
    I think a 6 minute refill time each, with a 50-ish cap would be a much better mechanic..

    It's about storage at the moment you need to clear gas every 3.5 hour faster gas would mean loging in even more regularly, who can do that? A full tank is pointless if your asleep, working or otherwise busy.
    48 gas means you could clear every 8 hours, this is not out of the question.
    Fast recharge is only good for those that want and can play 24/7 and would lead to ppl without lives streaming ahead of the average player.

    It is not going to happen bro. Whoever is the designer made sure no matter how far you upgrade, you will need to buy their GOLD except if you can wait a year+ to get it completed. I bought dying light and the last of us on ps4 which is a lot better.

    The other issue with gas capacity is that gold for gas tank refills would be very expensive but I wouldn't mind a larger gas tank, shorter regen time, or both. It'd be nice if I we could go 5-6 hours without wasting gas. NG could offer partial gas tank refills to ofset cost.

    It would be nice if they offered a gas storage tank. That would extend gameplay if your car was full, and you found gas in crates etc.

    Why not have a building to generate gas like food and badges? It could be upgraded. Also/or give a class of quests in the story mode for a gas run--right now we have options for tomatoes, stars, and a deadly. Add a gas run.

    I agree when gas maxed its a waste.

    Akartiki has a got a point there. If you dont use your gas you just dont have to claim it. If you do want it you just press the gas icon right? But i think that gas has to be slow to get because otherwise your capicity has to be more aswell. Like ouround the hundered or something, but then you can do missions more then 40 times a day. So if they would make a oil or gas receiver it has to work slow, amd not really super duper fast. I think there can be very good designs for a gas receiver! I agree with this idea. But the gas run is kinda weird, because you have to give around 2, 3, or 4 gas to do the mission and you will get the same amount back, kind of weird isnt it?

    And that's why walkers are dumb, not givin' a crap about anything.

    Not necessarily get 2,3,4 back. Either make every box a gas box or make same chance as getting a weapon, but gas equal to mission cost. Get 1 gas can? Mission was free. Get 2-3, fill storage. From a "keep it real as the show" standpoint, they have to do gas runs--never seen them do a badge run though. Just saying....

    One other thing: maybe have gas as an option when scrapping gear? Choose badges, tomatoes, or gas as scrap result.

    Point is: making it easier to play means more people playing longer--in business its called utilization. Every service business wants utilization. Higher utilization means lower chance of losing your customer to a competitor.

    +1 - I was just going to make this suggestion, but found this thread, so no need to repeat a great idea.

    Hi Team, Love this game. Cant say how really great and deep it has become. Can you please lower the gas requirement for the exploratory side missions in the main game. They are high. I think everyone loves the gas more than anything else because it gives us the control to play when and where we want...vs. other events that often hit brick walls (i.e. upgrade survivors instantly when our reserve can only hold so much XP at any time.) Gas and zombie hordes 10x are so fun and really allow both casual and hardcore users the flexibility to play at their own style and leisure

    Should get rid of gas altogether! Make us use XP or even outpost crates to do any type of missions. There is SO MUCH going on in this game now, there's not enough to gas to do EVERYTHING! Waiting for survivors to heal is already long enough. If not going to get rid of gas should atleast cut the time in half and lower ALL mission gas prices, I mean do you guys want me to play your game or not? It would help if I didn't have to wait for gas on top of EVERYTHING else we have to wait for. Thanks for your time!
