Beta and Primed

Has anyone tried Beta with Primed Armour? I guess Beta’s overwatch attacks with MS can never be body shots, right? Which means the target will always be pushed back, so breaking the herded status won’t result in getting hit by a walker if the overwatch attack fails to kill.

Have I got this all wrong? Not sure if I ought to looking for Beta armour with Primed (as long as he’s armed with MS), or if my wishful thinking is going to result in me being bitterly disappointed.

Thanks for feedback

The main target is never a body shot on your turn. Unless your playing Zeke, if he’s holding a MS the attack from his leader trait is never a body shot, even if it’s during enemy turn.

Ah, yeah! Of course. So overwatch attacks can be a body shot, meaning you could break the herded status and get attacked. Gotcha! Thanks for response.

Does this mean the consensus is to avoid primed on armour for Beta?

    Yea, no primed on Beta
