Perseverance Issue?

Correct me if I‘m wrong, but I noticed a major issue regarding the perseverance trait since last update: the chance to activate seems to have decreased significantly. Odd thing to say, only my warriors seem to be affected by this „feature“, the accompanying bruiser gets charge points as usual. Havn‘t checked scouts for this issue so far.

Can anyone confirm?

I noticed the same thing, I’m having a hard time charging with perseverance since the update.

Well, as long as It seems to me that it‘s a bug not a feature -  I believe that you don‘t have „decreased this trait on your end“ for sure

In the meantime, two guild members confirmed my experience - just by the way.

I believe there are some adjustments works behind. 
e.g. stun active rates between SK Shield and R Shield.
Furthermore, damage of BM had been increased in written but then, increased body shot rate secretly at next update.

I also noticed beta not getting charge points from perseverance as often aswell. Hitting 6-8 walkers (2 or 3 at a time) and getting 1 or no charge points. Haven’t used him or zeke much since but will certainly keep an eye on it next time I do.

If you're having perseverance issues, my best advice is to just stick with it.

I confirm, I also noticed this, I wrote it off as a random chance. But I haven't installed the latest update yet. It seems that something is not being told to us.

Dear @Lexia , this issue is now confirmed by several players. And - on the other hand - I found no one who declared that the trait is working as before. May I kindly ask you to investigate, please?

Michonne and Eze just played Ping-Pong with the Lvl 54 Boss Walker in the "Cellar Dweller" Challenge Mission. Sad to say, but the only charge point they received was the one for the kill.

i made a vid where ezekiel and Beta wont get a single charge when beating a lvl55 spiked walker...

all single target hits with morningstar, both hereo have perseverance, and ezekiel also have luck

I counted all the times perseverance activated on my finger and toes and arrived at 0. This just can't be working as intended.

Is it the same for everyone?

Had anyone noticed this happening only vs heavy enemies or also vs normal walkers?

From my point of view this happens against every type of walker. You can get charge points from perseverance, but - as I wrote before - it‘s much more unlikely. And the bug does only affect warriors - perhaps its a morning star issue?

Something has happened with Ezekiel and Perseverance. He doesn't get charge points from Perseverance anymore. 

Have a look at this video. Zeke makes several attacks, but does not get a single charge point (he does get 2 eventually from kills). Hdaryl does get a charge point, so it seems this concerns Ezekiel only.

@Lexia have a look? A few other players have reported the same issue so seems to be a wider issue.

I thought I had strings of bad luck when Ezekiel did not get any charge point last round, until Jubjab mentioned it, and I thought, yeah I had the same problem too,

But just now I played (and videoed it), seems like I am getting charge point like normal.

I did swap the Morning Star between Ezekiel and Beta. Not sure if this swap unstuck the perseverance problem ...

The me it looks like the bug concerns the Razor Morning Star only. A MS without razor upgraded works fine.

Came here to say that I also am having a hard time charging with morning stars, particularly with single hit targets… could it be that for some reason it’s only activating on bodyshots?

Just done some testing on this. Just did rush home with 3 warriors all with morning stars 2 razer 1 interrupt. Not a single charge point for a single hit enemy. The interrupt one fully charged pretty much every time from hitting 3 or more wakers the razer one would get 1 from hitting 4+ need to look back to see if getting only a few bodyshots from those groups.
Bit more testing, put gabe in lead and lucky armor on beta, he should have a 68% chance to gain a charge point. 8 or 9 (might have been more by the end single target attacks and no charge points. Hit a group with at least 3 bodyshots and fully charged most of the time.

Have you compared the 2 vs multi-hit and single hits?

Just tested two missions with two warriors, one equipped with the razor MS, the other equipped with the interruptor MS. I can confirm, that if you hit more than one target you have a significantly higher chance of recharging by perseverance trait when using the interruptor MS. So far, so good. But as I attacked single targets, neither one does ever activate perseverance.

I came to the following conclusion: When using a morning star, perseverance does only grant a chance of activation by body hits. Remember: one of the MS special ability is, that the directly attacked target will always be a normal or critical hit. And therefore no chance for a charge by attacks on the main target. Fortunately, if you attack multiple targets the secondary targets can either be a bodyshot, a normal or a critical hit. For every bodyshot, there is a chance for gaining a recharge point through perseverance. 

Why there is a higher chance to receive charge points when using the interruptor-MS? First, the chance is increased by the luck-trait on the Interruptor-MS. On the other hand, this variant does not have the Razor-Trait - and therefore the chance for bodyshots on secondary targets are increased. More bodyshots - more chances for activation.

Why does perseverance with MS not work on single targets? Simple answer: as I stated before, the Morning Star’s first target will always be a normal or critical hit. No bodyshot - no chance for a perseverance charge.

Did not do that specifically, no. Used Carl Zeke Beta on Rush Home but wasn't paying attention to single vs. multi-hit hits. Neither charged on anything but kills.

Sounds like bug is guaranteed no body shot is meaning guaranteed no Perseverance?

It seems to be just the morning star too, as just had two non bodyshots with the riot shield and got charged.

For Morning Star, I`m pretty sure.

For other circumstances I can't tell. Havn`'t tested this enough with other classes/other weapons so far.

For a warrior, Persistence does not work when attacking MS in one target. Tested with a guild member. He beat an ordinary zombie at the wall, I kept a fat walking Eze in the Shark Pool (I spent my moves on purpose, that only the leader worked). I have zero charging for seven beats. MS are the ones that were given on GW.
T-Dog with Zweihander played a couple of fights on regular missions, with Persistence it charges normally.
