Converting missing XP to gold -somebody hasn't got a pennyworth of common sense

I'm playing this game 4 months and still I can't understand ridiculous converting missing XP to gold.
Gear lvl 16 2nd trait cost 529k. Still I need 268k XP so I just looked in curious on gold conversation.
268k XP = 1795 gold witch is around £8 :s
For me it's a sick joke. Somebody hasn't got a pennyworth of common sense designing this payment system.

Do you know that one full refill of 21 gas cost £0.60 ?
For me it's still black magic...
It's like 0.6 L of petrol to my car X_X

On the same note, instant upgrade on this £45, that's like more than a days work for alot of people.

Exactly why I and many others have left other great games. A day's pay to save you several days grinding in a game? Really? But the noobs are the ones paying for the games because they want to get going so bad.

I rarely pay at all anymore because all the games seem to be set up this way. I have spent a minute amount on this one, but pixels that are useful for less time than the food I just ate but cost 2-3 times more, simply aren't worth it, at least to me.

    Let's see . . . Someone check my math here . . .

    £8 buys you 1795 gold.
£8 is about 11 US$. To upgrade one trait on one weapon? Who can afford that?

    To make matters worse . . .

11 US$ for 1795 gold is about $0.61 per gold bar

I do not have the option of buying gold bars at 61 cents per bar.

The best deal I can get is $99.99 for 14000 gold bars which works out to $0.71 per gold bar. So, for me to spend 1795 gold it would cost me $12.75, not $11.

If I don't have a spare $100 lying around, I could spend $19.99 for 2500 gold bars. That's $0.80 per gold bar, which means 1795 gold would cost me $14. To upgrade one trait on one weapon.

So, relative to me, you're getting a "deal".

    Seriously, who can afford this?

(and, seriously, someone check my math. I'm not fully caffeinated yet.)

"patience is a virtue." you don't need to pay gold to rush things.. just do everything in your own phase if you don't want to spend that much gold. No one is forcing anyone to pay that much. If no one pays, maybe the price will go down.. Maybe..

I would like to help speed things up sometimes, to refill gas sometimes but everything here cost space amount of money..
I would like to support NG but again.. They want too much. Where's the spirit "every little helps "???

if many will not spend because of this ridiculously huge cost, then perhaps NG will feel the slight depletion of income. and maybe they will lower it.. you cannot tell everybody to do what you want them to do, but you can tell yourself. so start it by yourself and maybe others will do the same.

i do buy gold currently but just use it for opening boxes when I get a gold crate and also the odd fuel refil if we need to push for a guild milestone.

I would spend a lot more money if the instant upgrades and food/XP top ups were realistic.

I would happily pay say £2 to upgrade a weapon a stage as its a dispoable item, I'm certainly not going to drop £45 on it for it to be obsolete in a months time.

I know it's not just this game as its whole business model that company's adopt in these type of games, but surely you would make more money by charging sensible money for things which the majority of your players could afford and would buy rather than just a nominal handful of players dropping big bucks because they can.

There is a reason that " NextGames People " have not commented on the. " Gameplay real world money "...

They read what our complaints are, ( unrealistic, " real " money amounts for TEMPORARY game playing / obsolescence in the future... ) and efforts required to " Upgrade " ( star & Soup & now Box FARMING ) that will shortly be useless for enjoyable gameplay...

The basis of the problem, is " BALANCE "...

They have lost what makes the game play enjoyable for the higher levels...

They probably have, many voices of people at " NextGames " saying, " we are a a business, the game play at the lower levels works well, and gamers will pay for a substantial increase of game play...

    All true...

But those purchasing decisions then ( lower levels ) are useless to the gamers, in the future levels of play, and EXPONENTIALLY MORE MONEY... REAL F-EN MONEY is needed to be spent to avoid " frustration , boredom of play "

But at this time, this is being addressed by the concept of " Weekend Events "... And " PvP "

But the " Balance " is still a problem... The bugs, just get in the way...

The Balance and the Financial Model as is, will lead to gamers finding other games...

" NG " is stuck... So... They don't respond here...

    ( I wouldn't respond either... )

Well... They still have time to address the Balance, and the appearance of Greed...

We shall see, if they can.................
I am easily confused by other people's, laziness and sloppiness and greed...

Any guess who might " now " be on my list, ( in 2017 )

They would rather have less customers that pay more . Rather than more customers that pay less . Less hassles that way . Total bullshit our way....

The principle of the thread is valid. However, @Dale, your math is VERY wrong. If 1795 gold costs $11, then the cost per gold is .61 cents. That is to say, 61/100 of a penny. To check the math, just do the reverse operation. 1795 x $.61 = $1094.95. 1795 x $.0061 = $10.9495.

To be clear, I think spending approx $11 is still crazy (but I do it from time to time).

I spend far less money now than when I was several levels lower - which just might help prove your point @mongo911. Even if I would buy the $99 14.000 gold bar bundle I would get very little by way of upgrades. Thus I am now only purchasing smaller amounts and only if I get something extra- like radios. Not that the radios do much for me but at least I rationalize the purchase then. My bank account thanks you though, NG! Well and my grandkids since my extra money wasn't getting spent much on them anymore. ;)
