NG finally dropped gas price from 4 to 2 which is good step forward.

I'm okay with most of this, except the 10 to search. Most outposts have less than 50 resources in them, and I'm still getting matched against players way more powerful than I am. If I search more than twice, I'm actually LOOSING resources by raiding, because that makes sense as a "game balance" mechanic. *Facepalm*

Why to not make guarantee at least 100 TG?? Plus TG from player...

Getting the resources or the player on the match screen would be a better start, lol.

After Outpost matchmaking update 03/10/2016 it now costs more crates (10) to search and I'm getting put against opponents whose survivors are 7+ levels higher (lv9 vs. lv16) and whose power levels are twice mine (30 vs 60+). I don't have enough crates to keep clicking until your matchmaking finally gives me an even matchup. I'll lose crate or go broke trying. What gives?!

Gas has nothing to do with it ... Remember 500 TG mean a gold crate , you spend 6 gas for a deadly mission and nobody guarantee you will get a gold crate. I have nothing to complain with 2 gas and 10 TG for an attack, but 10 TG for a search is a robbery and make the outpost useless . Searching should cost only 1 TG

This change killed Outposts to me, I have no problem raiding players as mine are lvl17 but 10TG every time I do a search is too much.

3 TG per search and 10TG to join a match would be max aceptable to me.
2 gas per raid isn't good, too, but I could live with it. I loved the beta with no gas cost, sniff sniff.

I guess they thought this carefully this past week and they will not change it again so... /cry

In beta specifically they said they did not have plans to charge gas, but it was being considered... I never saw anything firm for an answer, but I'm not surprised they are charging.

My main issue with the update is it should have a minimum of a 10 (15 would be better) crate reward. What's the point of spending 10 to earn less? That's like going to work every day and paying your boss to let you, but you end up in the hospital from your hard labor, just sitting around for a few hours, feel a tad taken advantage of, but go back and do the same thing when you recover.

I think that's the definition of insanity.

It should be guaranteed 100 TG per attack. 100 TG from NG pocket plus TG % from player Outpost which is attacked.

Pre update I'd search through a minimum of 10 but on average closer to 15-20 to find something worth raiding. Only about 1-5% of the time it matched me to near equal level surivors. Most of the time they were 4+ levels above. I won't even attempt anything unless I can get 75-150 TG. Meanwhile, I won't leave my own (forever) easily raided outpost subjected to loose 100 or more TG. The changes to increase the cost ten fold doesn't help. I'm probably not doing to do raiding at all now.

The influence should never have been used in match making. It should be matching based on the highest levels/gear you have.

There is no incentive to hold on to so many TG except for trying to get a potentially unwanted legendary. Even 1500 for a rare isn't appealing.
If for example you could get bonus resources or something while holding 5-7k TG, maybe people might do that.

Agreed. I have to search many times to find a match. Ah! Someone with a few hundred TG! After raid I get 30 or something. Hardly worth even thinking about raiding

10 TG to search is outrageous, there is virtually no profit to raid now, 1 to search, 10 to raid is quite fair.......CHEESE

1 primo - extra 3 locks cost need to be dropped from 25 to 15.
2 secondo - exploration missions gas cost need to be changed from 6 to 3
3 tertio - guaranteed xp and supplies from exploration missions need to go up
4 voto - more xp from scrapping fully upgraded gear

    +1

Good idea. 1 TG for searching and 10 TG to srart raid

    +1

I hate the random legendary crate let us choose the class, getting legendary scout weapons, I do not use them, i have many of them, but none of the others...

I wonder who I send the cleaning bill to wash people's survivor guts off my walls?? Nobody's really attacked me & now twice tonight & they both got wiped out lmao, my level 17 maxed gear survivors to much for people even though theirs look fairly maxed also, not even sure I'd try to fight me it's not worth it lol

Exploration missions are big joke ATM. Gas cost 6, we receive really small amount of supplies and buildings upgrade cost now more than 3 millions!!!
    Come on devs!

where would they get the money from if they lowerd expo mission gas..

in all seriousness. i would LOVE to see figures regarding expenditure. if people are now spending less on the game generally now, following these changes such as 2 challenges.

i know of a LOT of top players (who were spenders) quitting as a result. hence the gut is less money being ploughed in.

of course the initial huge amounts of available upgrades, will of meant some people have supplemented with some gold to get ahead etc, but i bet that is less than before, and soon as outposts die down which they will now with current costs and lack of time.

so will just come down to money in the end if anything is to change.

By cutting the gas cost for missions as well as cutting gas prices (done), it would encourage people to buy gas or at least make it much more viable to purchase more gas to do missions.
Gas is an overtaxed resource- to use for challenges, story and now outposts is unreasonable. It stretches a limited resource too far, 10 min regen time coupled with 2 challenge events per week as well as needing to farm story missions for exp and supplies really limits what players can achieve and their ability to compete.
Outpost needs to have its own limited resource and MANY other/different games recognise the need/importance of having a different resource for other content. This is especially true given that outpost rewards do not give supplies and only very few and small exp payouts.

they could leave the gas cost, thats not the real problem here.
The real problem is farms and tents do not generate the amount they should at higher lvl's
upgrading farms past lvl 7 is near useless as it takes months to earn back what you spend.
if they tackle this problem grinding is for those who need just that little more to get the building today instead of tomorrow.

I've spent so much $$$ on this game but cmon the prices to upgrade I've now realized is way over priced in this game. Really 3 million XP to upgrade one thing and then have it take another 24hrs till you can even use it seems a bit extreme to me. I see their not going to change a thing and to still charge so many tomatoes and XP to upgrade its just out of reach to anyone that you almost force us to buy gold just to keep up. Well, I don't like it and I guess the only way to make NG pay attention is for all gold buyers to STOP buying gold. Then maybe they will listen. Anyway that's my prayer. If not I'll just stay at lvl 16 till everything just gets too hard to complete I'll just quit. I've spent about $300 a month but no more NG till you listen and realize the tomatoes and XP are just to far out of reach for most players and makes it TOO HARD to keep up.

well, i'm glad to play, morning, noon, afternoon and evening, its just the time i have.
If i have a little spare time i go to the fuelpump for a recharge. But its taking me a week to get one building upgraded, in 3 weeks they will have a next upgrade and i won't even have 4 buildings of the possible 10 maxed. Not to mention the new players can never catch up.

Lol Bean Counters use spreadsheets. Revenue drops so they check the spreadsheet and lo and behold! Raising prices generates more profit!

Then they wonder why Walmart and McDonalds grew into such large corps
  • reisodreisod Member Posts: 20
Outposts were fun at 1 crate searches. The economics no longer work at 10. It's more profitable not to raid at all, resulting in zero incentive to develop the outpost. Going back to playing once daily to slowly grind out my base.

Normal economy that is supplies nd XP is highly unbalanced.... The camps nd farms don't make much nd Even gas cost is high to do quick Exploration missions..... Main issue is updates r way too high...
    Please FIX ECONOMY
  • AmigaAmiga Member Posts: 3,770
@eetu wrote today that they are aware about XP balance problem and working on it. No idea about supplies..

@Animesh101 I know right? Everything is way to expensive. It's just to hard so people give up and buy gold or quit. I'm kinda ashamed how much I've spent and now will just play at lvl 16 and wait hoping they fix economy if not and it gets to hard I'll just eventually stop playing. That makes me sad because I've really enjoyed this game. They've just made it to hard. 2.5mil tomatoes to upgrade something and then it also takes up a day and a hour to complete. Smdh!!

I'm beginning to suspect that NG took notes from DeNA on how to ignore cutomers and completely tank your games. DeNA is folding games left and right due to failures directly related to the same tactics NG is exhibiting with this most recent update.

This is what happens when a company prioritizes profit over customer want. I work for the largest developer of engineering software in the world, and I can tell you we have shoved "improvements" down our customers' throats that have sent them running to the competition.
