What is the biggest fun from all hack 'n'slash game or turn base strategy ect? Option to use a ton of different gear. Thanks to it we always finding fun from playing. Now I have also to ton of gear but I can't use it so no fun from playing...
Since 6 months I never felt so burned out like now... I lost completely motivation to play. Exploration maps - waste of time. Grinding XP - waste of time. All leads nowhere...I can't take fun anymore from it when upgrading gear is completely out of my sight.
Could not agree more @Amiga with everything you said. They just increased the amount of production for our farms, but not XP tents, now when they increase the council we can build another farm, but not another tent?? You have mentioned farming, I am long past 7.4 so that isn't option. During the last challenge, I attempted to farm "shut them out" (I think that was the name of it) and after about 5 or 6 rounds the map just totally filled with big fatty walkers!! Needless to say that put end to that farming. I am wondering if anyone else has tried to farm this one in the past, and if this has always happened or is this new and they are trying to discourage us from farming?
Triple XP event or Double XP kills event really makes game better and it should stay normally. Maybe for low lvl players it would be too much but for ppl with lvl 40+ should works well.
I'm sure as much of a pain lvl 21 gear will be, a lot of ppl will still be using lvl 20 gear for a bit & lvl 18 survivors with lvl 20 gear will still be a lil better for awhile, I'm a bit frustrated cause all my survivors have lvl 20 legendary weapons & armor & not looking forward to starting over but 1 at a time I guess lol as long as it's another long time before another update my tomatoes are maxed so kinda need to spend those anyways
My lvl 17 team still sit on lvl 16-19 gear. I don't have enough XP to upgrade lvl 17+ gear so I don't even think about Lvl 18 + At this point of game I lost further motivation to play...
however need to stop the auto farmers if the xp will jump s high otherwise they get an even BIGGER advantage than they do today, which is already bad. theyd get full xp every night, and for those willing to spend gold to speed upgrades would get fully upgraded team ASAP.
Can someone post a ss of that 1.8m upgrade? Thought 660k was already to much for lvl 18 survivors did 1 already but still, shouldn't make players spend gold to have lvl 21 gear, what's that $5 a weapon after u maxed XP to get the rest??? That's a bit much

totally agree, though im cringing how much gold people must of used to of upgraded council, training and workshop, plus survivors and gear, i guess people could be maxed on ketchup so could just be money to finish, but wow., imagine still not cheap.
sure i heard they still "looking at XP" so maybe in another month they may have some ideas after which people will of lost there hair in frustration ;-)
They definitely need to do something about gear xp upgrade costs. My suggestion would be:
1) End the xp farming by giving 0 xp for kills on a mission that lasts over 15 minutes of real time to complete or fail. Right now people can use overnight macros to get a free 500k xp per night. That's an overwhelming and unfair advantage. Plus, need I mention, NG, that xp macro farming reduces the amount of gold that your customers would buy with real $? You DO want to put a stop to this.
2) Reduce the 2nd upgrade cost in xp on a weapon/armor by 25%. Reduce the 3rd upgrade cost in xp on a weapon/armor by 33%. This is a very moderate reduction that is called for if for no other reason than the xp storage limit that players face.
3) Increase the xp received from scrapping a weapon/armor to 15% of the xp used in upgrading it. A lot of players would luv to see this be 50%. But NG won't do that since that would effectively eliminate the double xp scrap weekend events, as such an event would basically allow unlimited xp storage. But a 15% recovery value, would translate into only 30% on double scrap xp weekends. Even then, NG might see increased gold useage/purchases on xp scrap weekends as players try to avoid having their xp storage buffer overflow during such an event.
C'mon NG, these would be reasonable changes to the game that wouldn't have a negative net effect on real $ revenue.
@Daz Why do you want to hurt the ppl who farm without bots/cheats with the 15 minute time limit as well? Fully agree that NG should try to find a way to eliminate autofarm options, but in a way that allows ppl who are ready to farm 1-2 hours at a stretch without using bugs/cheats to keep doing it.

Some ppl may have all the gold in the world to buy this shit but as much as I don't mind spending & keeping my gold at a reasonable level for gas I still do all my upgrades the hard way by grinding XP & basically ng shit on the non & avg spenders with that & now only the high rollers can keep going that's so dumb
Well started my 2nd lvl 18 legendary but they better fix this gear thing even though no time to work on that for awhile it looks like but still ridiculous XP costs

This have been a known problem for a long time but the devs have no intention to change it. Things can be fixed in the meantime with higher XP earnings till they solve the XP riddle but not a thing is being made but some weekend events that shows it can be done temporary. They tempt us with better XP economy but then go back to the same old low XP earnings that add to the frustration to upgrade gear and survivors. Come on devs and show that you care for us at Player level 40+. Otherwise veteran players will abandon this once great game. Thanks for hopefully listen to us.
