What exactly does Luck stack with?

I'm sure it's in the forms somewhere, but could someone post a list of every trait/stat/whatever that Luck stacks with?

    It "should" stack with every trait that is a chance trait. For example 15% chance of dodging an attack or 80% chance of interrupt. .. there still has been no word on some of the new traits , but testing shows that it works with silenced and extra charge traits. Harder to test with the new armor traits like bullet and stun resistant , but also seems to be working as intended. It is not working with swift strike , although it is supposed to. They are supposedly working on this .

    Herr are the traits that I personally can guarantee that luck stacks with.

    Dodge
    Extra chance of Critical
    Interrupt
    Weapon bonus charge
    Silenced shot

    And if you don't have the trait, does it give you increased percentage? eg, if I don't have Dodge on my survivor or his armor, but have 10% Luck, do I still have 10% Dodge or do I need a base stat for Luck to increase?

    @Japes87 any word if it stacks with stun resistant? I would assume it wouldn't or it would make armor with gold (75%) nearly stun resistant with luck on a weapon and survivor.

    @General_Quatre that's a great question. I asked it last week and got mixed answers. Someone mentioned they had a survivor that didn't have dodge but lost of luck and infact they were able to dodge.

    Would this indicate my survivor cannot be stunned?

    75% chance to resist stun
    15% luck on weapon
    12% luck on survivor

    102% luck so I should never be stunned is that right?



    uh oh... watch this get fixed in 2.1 now.

    It's definitely stacks with stun resistance. If you have gold stun resistance and gold some combo of luck to give you 20%, a level 30 fatty can swat you all day and your survivors will not stun. In the down side, that fatty can still inflict damage to your survivors.

    There's going to be changes to the Luck (and Dodge) stacking in the near future. Look for the details in the release notes for an upcoming update.

    @OldGoth is it possible to get a definitive answer to the original question? Today, what other traits does luck stack with? If you want to share information about a future update, great, but this has been a question people have been looking to have answered for months.

    @SpacemanSpiff that's a scary theory!

    They did sell us both armor with dodge and weapons with luck earlier at this council level. So they would perhaps still face reclaims.
    I'm lost.

    @General_Quatre I can't confirm that luck unlocks traits that you don't have a previous base , but I can confirm that survivors without bullet dodge still seem to be able to bullet dodge occasionally , there's a theory that this could be due to luck. @DLich in theory yes you should not be stunnable , if you do get stunned though , it'll confirm that luck doesn't stack with it.

    @OldGoth your response and hint about coming changes to luck and dodge stacking actually horrifies me :/

    Back...

    Vs Lvl 13 tank I dodged 5 times and avoided stun 7 times. Not once stunned.

    Yeah, I think that needs to be communicated really soon. As that is a big part of this game.

    I wonder if instead of stacking, they will all be independant rolls
    So Dodge + dodge + luck + luck
    = 4 seperate rolls of 15% each

    That would stop any stuff ups where something ends up over 100% when it shouldn't

    I believe the "fix" will be a percentage of a percentage.

    Right now 45% luck max stacks on 30% dodge max. So that's 30 + 45 = 75 right?

    I believe luck will be the percentage of dodge.

    If dodge is 30% and luck is 45% then...

    45% of 30% is 13.5%

    Dodge 30% plus luck 13.5% (45% of 30%) is 43.5% not 75%.

    That's how I believe this will be tweaked and ultimately a nerf

    If a survivor has no dodge (0%) and has 30% luck it'll still be 0% since 30% of 0 is always 0. So that won't be changed yet luck will take a dump.

    Just my $.02

    Prove me wrong with 2.1 please but otherwise you heard it here first

    It'll be listed as "balancing" in 2.1 btw.

    I cannot fathom any example where @OldGoth says it needs to be "fixed" that doesn't involve us players bring nerfed.

    Fixed = nerfed.

    Like the autotap was "fixed"

    That's a very weird way of doing it.

    It makes sense if you are buying something.
    If it costs $100 and on sale for 50% off, but you a VIP so get another 10% off, you dont get 60%
    its $100 - 50% = $50 - 10% = $45

    I am not speaking for NG. I honestly hope "fix" works to our advantage. But I haven't seen any time an update came about that involved our survivors getting stronger only weaker.

    We know luck stacks on dodge.

    If it doesn't it's a nerf

    @dlich always thought luck luck Dodge dodge adds up to max 60% dodge inside were stun resist at 75% may be too much as it would add up too 100% and I agree with bullet dodge and reg Dodge should not stack together . I really hope they don't nerf luck . That gives wt least a chance to beat levels you couldn't beat without it

    I agree. It's a very dangerous comment to blurt out.

    There's no real way to change it without nerfing it. Unless they increase it as a base. So if @DLich way is correct, then maybe they will change survivor dodge & armour dodge to be 30% each etc.

    @tammy they can listen and then decide to do the opposite. The developer update does say trait balancing, which is just code for nerfing. I hope you have a nerf walled room for all the trait nerfing that's likely coming soon to a survivor and eq near you...

    I actually don't mind if they make adjustments.
    If they change it and it ends up that dodge ends up maxing at 45% then so be it.
    It is changing for everyone, and we are all in teh same boat.
    So you only get 400 stars instead of 500, its all relative.
    It should make the game more challenging, more strategic.

    AS LONG AS people aren't ripped off. (Like the silencer gun)
