Lol with the exception of today and I think 2 other times since they introduced the content creator program in May, the CCs have been posting videos at 1 PM EST or I guess that is 5 PM UTC on Wednesdays. Maybe it will be some good news after today's big nerf ball or maybe it will affect the challenge so it would be nice to get some consistency with the video announcements again.

@Terminates next time there is a delay you should make a video saying its delayed and release it during the 1 PM time slot? I'm sure your delay video will be funny too.
Working out the details sounds like it's a new event and that scares me!
We know the delay isn't the CCs well I think most of us know if it isn't announced it's probably because they didn't tell the CCs.
@painclasher As Morgan would say don't be sorry don't ever be sorry. It wasn't your fault for the late announcement I think most people know the CCs will get them to us as soon as they are allowed.
@Amiga Not sure there will ever be another classic 'higher chance' radio event, NG are moving away from the all or nothing pull, and towards character development, which will be a good thing if they can fine tune the token economy.
The next event will bring into focus the crazy gold box reward disparity, where there is a large % chance of getting an unusable green item with a scrap value that is a fraction of a gold box XP reward.

IMO, the greater chance means nothing. They show up on your screen, but they still don't open with the first 3 free unlocks. You have to burn gold to open (or have the cinema video going). This event is a gold burner -- which means it generates revenue for NG when people burn their gold supply down.
