anyone else think that's strange?
We are getting more ingame information, so how hard would it be to cut and paste those announcements here?
I'm not addicted, I just have nothing better to do.

"Listening" is the passive action of hearing inaudible input from a visual Forum
I'm guessing Teecee's mind is blown that Noted is obviously a more progressive response than Listening?

Next Games - Quality Freemium Butchers - Purveyors of Fine Fresh Nerf - We Take the Luck Away From Choice Cuts
Next Games - Great Leaders in Redefining Value in a Virtual World
It could be the reason of less communication recently

The former is active, whereas the other two options appear, imho, to be more passive.
So I'm not understanding the need for duplicate announcements, but I'm not opposed to it or anything.
Then on the off chance that someone who liked the game, but disliked certain changes-- maybe they read the forum and give these guys and this game a second chance.
It's doubtful, yes. But if you have to read 50+ messages of a randomly titled user post to find one half-assed dev answer... Well there's a better chance of finding snow in the Sahara desert than there is finding that post unless you visit the forums everyday and read every post. And no ex-player is going to do that.

I viewed that page once or twice and found video's with screens of weekend event announcements one day ahead of the actual announcements.
Figured that was useless, since that info comes readily ingame at the opportune time.
The communication that is obviously desired is mind-easing information about actual fixes.
It is in fact very noticable how silent NG is about development issues.
I seem to remember a much more active role from their side not too long ago.
In fact, since the recent one or two updates the development of the game has caused so many very major greavances that it is my suspicion that NG went OMFG on this and are now scrambling for a fix. This must be damaging to their cashflow.
But since sentiment is hot, openly discussing thought processes or partial plans for a fix will very very likely only couse ever so much more rioting.
So my guess, they're keeping their heads down, working hard in the background, in the hopes of getting morale back up much higher in the long run.
After all, while some players might leave now, come October there will likely be a new influx of players. Plus, a return of part of the players that have left and are then curious if perhaps NG has fixed enough of their grievances to enjoy the game once more.
There's still some two months for them to update a couple of times, using feedback to get the game back up there before the new season is on screen.

You hit the nail on the head. Having to dig through threads for an answer to issues shouldn't be that difficult. A simple sticky with a list of bugs being worked on isn't a bad thing. It would solve the problem of multiple threads being created.

The game dropped last season and that's where the bulk of the downloads came from. Since then, the love affair has run aground and newbies will be discouraged by both active (postings on AMC's page for example) and passive (reading the one star reviews) methods. Basically, they've already hit their target audience and will now be looking to pick up the stragglers. No pvp fan is going to stay in this game for the broken Outpost system and pve players aren't going to fall in love with the current build for all the obvious reasons.
NG launched pve, they should have stuck with that and improved on their original product. PvP is a CF because they decided they wanted to be Clash of Clans (or any of the other multitudes of successful pvp games) and failed. Nerfing pve because pvp has issues is wrong. They can't have it both ways. Pick a team and play that team. Otherwise, launch another version of the game instead of ruining the one that was working...mostly. When you have to lie, cheat and steal from your players to keep your game, you deserve to lose.
You can add all the "Heroes" you want, but virtual paper dolls and silenced crossbows don't make this TWD.
Of course all of this may be I got used to looking at the top of the forum on Thursday to see what is coming up for the weekend and I just hate breaking old habits.
@TheLostOnes , Please read the rules of the forum. Warning issued. Further disregard for the rules will result in loss of forum privileges.
Check out the DMZ guild. We're recruiting. Here.
I can certainly scan the topics though which is better than what I've been doing.
