15k TG for 30 phones - another robbery?

Just popped up in my shop.
Beside the all beloved offer of 5 phones for only super duper 3k NG suprised us all with this new best deal ever.
30 phones for only 15k TG. Can someone please calculate how much gold that is per one phone in this offer?
Just a guess: it's a ridiculous amount for sure.

    500 TG's cost 100 gold.

So that ratio made the -

5 radio 3K TG bundle cost 600 gold for 5 radios being 120 gold a piece.

30 radio 15K TG bundle costs 3K gold for 30 radios being 100 gold a piece.

If you bought radios using gold at the pull screen it's 50 gold a piece.

If you score 310 in challenges and guild has 3060 and you collect 1 day of outpost regeneration you can get the 30 radio bundle.

@DLich Correct. If you want to spend gold on phones you better do it in the phone menu before going for the calls. the Radios in the TG shop is only for casual players and players that stopped spending money so in this case the TG price for gold doesn't matter for them

    3000 TG / 5 radios = 600 TG ea

    15000 TG / 30 radios = 500 TG ea

    Slightly better deal

@painclasher if I recall it was you who made the video blowing through 100K worth of gold rewards TG crates. I don't think you got 30 if I recall.

    Thank you @painclasher; I enjoyed watching @Poppy video which he created. Out of 100 Gold Crate pulls (500 crates a piece; 50,000 TG's total used) he pulled radio's 3 times... 12 radio's for 50,000 TG's or 30 radio's for 15K TG's with this bundle isn't too bad.

    Here's @Poppy 's video

I just traded 15,000 TG in for the phones. It took about 2 weeks of saving TG, considering how little I've been playing. All told, based on my experiences with gold crates, and the above example from @Poppy (hat tip @DLich) I think it's a decent return.

And I didn't have to break my $$ embargo, so it was a win. @meanbird I agree, it seems to be a reasonable accommodation for radios.

if u dont raid its not worth it.. llike me i dont raid.. by doin challanges i have 16 rewards waitin & after cashin in on them i only get a lil over 13k tg so after a week of challanges i dont have enough for 1 of those radio bundles so thats how i dont think its a good deal

It's better than the 3,000 for 5 for sure but still......

It really depends on where you are as a player. I'm maxed right now with level 19 players and for the most part my gear is all up to level 22. So for me, the crates for radio program is 'ok'. I'd prefer to have 60 phones, but at least I'm not paying any money. And that's most important for me.

I'm glad that NG added this option in TG shop.

If people are expecting an equal exchange ratio of 50 gold per radio; and wanting 5 radios to be 1250 TG's or 30 radios for 3K TG's then this isn't a "deal". But for those that earn TG's "any way they can" this is s deal.

    It's all about perception.

Why should ever NG change their behaviour when people believes that they get good deals.

  • I don't like this deal and will not ever use it but if others are happy with it then good for you. To me it looks like ngo doubling down on a bad idea while simultaneously making matters worse.

I like to achieve something with hard work. Getting 15k TG is a hard work indeed. If somebody prefer to buy radio bundles it's OK. Now everybody can choose their own way to get radios... I do like it.

    @DarkFae
Then you can still pick 500 TG crates hoping to get 4 phones. My team is well equipment so I don't need to choose 7500 TG that's why 15TG option is fine.
Of course everything depends on personal requirements and I can't compare myself to others players.

It doesn't matter that I agree with NG. Pricing. Everything in the game is overpriced... :/

Unfortunately there is no game on this world which will pleased everybody ;((

I understand this @Amiga but I still think 15,000 TG's is too much for 30 phones is all. That to me sounds like a bad deal. Way too expensive and poor economy balancing. Artificial inflation is always bad for any economy because you will be up sh*t creek without a paddle when the floor drops out from under you because what you used as currency has nothing substantial to verify it's worth. That's why there is such a thing as Fort Knox. Anything you use as currency in any economy needs something that has value that can be substituted for it and that can serve as proof of said things value. When you just toss things into any economy (even a fake one like the economy that has been created to make this game run) in that are artificially inflated (ie cost too much so it makes people think they have greater value than they actually do) then you risk making that economy become unstable and eventually collapsing. That is why I'm complaining but ngo will not listen so I'll just wait until what I'm forecasting to come into fruition so that I can say I told you so this time while I get ignored.

F2P games usually has aggressive pricing policy ;(( I hate F2P games.
I played Lineage 2 on subscription for months and when it becomes F2P I quit.
TWDNML has good F2P mechanism. Everything can be achieved by hard work and there is no P2W that's why I like this game.

I feel that if the game's economy was fixed that it would create an environment wherein both p2p and f2p play would be exponentially enhanced for the better. As of right now though this is not the case. So no I don't agree.

It isn't easy to create perfect F2P economy and making profit in the same time. For us it looks different than for developers.

Well this is not a friendship or a relationship it's a business so it's their job(s) to figure it out if they want to continue making money. They have shown by actions more than words that this is a business arrangement, so what's wrong with wanting them to do their jobs? They can't even say at this point they don't know what we mean when we ask them to fix the game economy or how a game economy can be fixed or broken after reading this conversation. Figuring out what the problem is and identifying what is creating it means that one is about 67% along the way to finding a solution. They have made millions since this game was released so they should be able to do the rest and fix their product so that they can continue to enjoy earning revenue from their consumers. Finding a way to make the difficult happen is what big boys and girls do all day every day when they go to work. Why should the good folk at ngo be excluded from this process and how does making weak excuses for them help get the problems with their product resolved?
