I believe @GreenBalloon read his remarks and came away thinking that @SlickRick somehow cheated to get his star count. I don't believe that was ever the intention of those remarks. And I know there's nothing nefarious going on with Rick.

    But we digress.

No, you nailed it...almost. I didn't think it, I thought that it was being inferred that he did. That's just how I read it and thought others might read it the same and believe it. @SlickRick addressed it, which is exactly what I thought should be done in case that was the intended meaning. In light of the recent policy change and account bannings, it's a serious thing to leave hanging in the air. Clarity is good.

@tammy Just as long as your margarita, wine and ribs don't get nerfed......

@SlickRick I'd have even more appreciation for you if you stuck with us in Externals Guild!:smile:

@Aetherhole, I believe SlickRick / jester / Japes87 are honorable and are trying for the good of the game.
The people they are talking to at Next Games, are just " stringing along " Guild Council "
A lot of Game Players will be upset with SlickRick / jester / Japes87 because, NextGames will probably not correct the problems that was the reason, the No More Money movement was started !!!!
There will be a pointing the finger, because of stupidity.
But it will be pointed at Next Games, not at the Guild Council or its representatives...
Next Games has tried to lull us to sleep with some ' things ' and ' promises ' of they are working on it !!!! That the code is hard to change !
Next Games is not working on code to address the problems, but to improve the game to their ultimate benefit !!!!
They want us to believe that, We should trust them, because they are good people !!!!

Their website showed their true motivation,
" squeeze the most money out of Game Players that they control "
( they truly view us, as controllable numbers, not customers ! )

Failure of the Guild Council revolt is inevitable !!!! Because of Next Games !!!!

Now that you've got that off your chest, my 2 cents:

    1st cent: you do not think Next Games will change the game to your liking;
2nd cent: you do not think the player base as any influence over the 1st cent.

This is where dialoge ends in my opinion.

All of us are here to enjoy the game. We need the developers for that. It's that simple.

    Let's keep it civil, please?

As the GC has been operating in good faith, I don't see how anyone could possibly blame them for the actions of NGO. Do I believe the dialogue has been open and honest? On the part of the GC, yes. But they have nothing to do with crap seeding of the RNG, nerfing or any other developer choices.

I want to say that I really appreciate what the GC tried to do (each and everyone in it-you guys are great)...after this "meh" update of 2.1, which was supposed to be some big change after all the discussion about the disastrous roll out of 2.0 (they did give us a couple of cookies)...maybe something interesting will take place with 2.2 or beyond with the start of season 7 of TWD to make this game fun to play for the long time players...however, I am not optimistic of the long time problems of this game being fixed for the long term high level players...NG seems to be positioning itself to push for a crop of new players and staying the course with things that many players don't like( which was to be expected)...the tedious grind of the game is the real problem (and the need to spend to get past it) and I don't know if that will ever be adequately fixed at this point...I wish you all the best...

I'm holding on until 2.2, which is going to overhaul challenges. Which essentially will answer the question of whether we made a difference

I have hope that 2.2 also will include some challenge improvements...

-2.2 will include a lot of trait bug issues and combat bug/unintentional results fixes, which will have a big impact on the challenges. The overhaul we have been planning that will include gas cost reevaluation, rewards restructuring, and a solution to the repeatable challenge issue, will _not_ be in 2.2.

As I have said, we do know that Challenges are a huge part of the way that end game players engage the game, which is why we couldn't just jam in a rushed version of the rework. We have seen a lot of gameplay in challenges that we didn't anticipate when we first devised the feature, and not all of it is the most fun gameplay. So the rework is trying to address all of these issues at once, instead of being a series of small changes.

We do hope to get it done this year; I think the team is pretty much in agreement that it is near the top of the priority list, and the planning for 2.3 will start as soon as 2.2 is out the door.

What about options to choose stars amounts 3,6 or 9 for low lvl walkers for more gas ect. Just to speed up process. It's booooring

@Shteevie so the main challenge overhaul which will deal with the boring low level challenge grind will happen when...in 2.2 or by the end of the year?
