That's a sweet offer. Have all maxed players received it? I didn't see it in my last restock about 3 hours ago, fingers crossed for next restock!!!
It's live for everyone, even those players that can not possibly afford to make the trade. You should definitely see it in the next restock.
The plan is to keep it up at least through the weekend, and to rotate it in and out periodically until we have fleshed out our plans for post-20 Council levels.

Thank you @Shteevie ! This is very much appreciated! At least I can accumulate trade goods while waiting for a big-ticket TG offer. Since there's no upper limit on TG storage, I know my food won't be going to waste any longer. it's a good feeling.
Plus I no longer have to look at those annoying orange bubbles over my food plots...
@Shteevie Nice job! Well-executed. Contrary to my original pessimism, the conversion rate also seems very fair to me
(I'm not actually maxed out and would not benefit from this, but I'm happy for the people that are maxed out and will benefit)

@Shteevie@Teeceezy Can you tell us when we can expect a council update? So we don't trade all our tomatoes this weekend and very soon after you release the council update and we all have no tomatoes left because that would be mean.

The fact that event style trade option would come round has been announced, and now executed. Nice! It was also announced that Next is planning to implement a more permanent solution also. I see no reason to doubt that. (I never di doubt that, but now it is more getting into the seeing is believing realm)
With fully maxed farms and Outpost, doing both the 2.5M and 100K trades, you'll automatically recoup your farm losses in 6 days (18,000/hour x 144 hours = ~2.6M tomatoes).
So that's 10,400TG every 6 days. Also in that time, you'd gain ~10,000TG from Outposts, landing you at 20,000+TG per 6 days, AKA 3400TG/day, or 1,135TG/7-hour-restock-cycle.
So one could, theoretically, never do another tomato run and STILL have enough TG to buy both sets of regular tokens (600 apiece for 1,200TG for all 16 tokens in that cycle). That's pretty sweet.
I personally have all the gear I need, so I'm not gonna opt for that. Might throw in a gold crate or two every now and again, and maybe some phones or Hero Tokens to change things up.
But I like this conversion...I basically do nothing and automatically get 48 tokens every day.
This was one of the greatest things since sliced bread. Really, thanks for letting us use them maxed supplies now. Awesome. So happy. Used to get a decent shooter weapon too. Just hope I see it often now.
Good move NG. I almost cashed mine in but I needed 4.5 million to do my training grounds. I hope this option sticks around as I will be maxed out soon.
Firstly, this is obviously great for the maxed players. I am not one of them,
Secondly, is the rate really that good? It's probably in line with all the other poor rates of conversion in the game but. 2.5m = 10k crates 10k grates = 20 gold crates.
For me, i get 25k supplies from a gold crate from the TG store (i assume maxed players get slightly more) So if you pulled 20 sets of supplies, you would get 500k supplies.
@blynknz the rate is obviously not great but I think that the main effect is not that you get some TG.
The main effect is the psycological one because it's VERY frustrating to find food in crates and from wall walkers (not to mention the farms) and see it go to waste.
There's also the realism element that annoys me. Food should be THE key resource in an walker-infested post-apocaloptic world.

Good to know you can swap cans for tg's now

I can't believe I'm about to say this:
I will probably be running food exploration missions this weekend.

Supplies exchange is a tricky gambit by NG hehe

Couldn't remember the joy of farming supplies

Click on a item and delete it so it can be replaced by another item
Sort of how you can do on quest now
I doubt I will be using the 100k and 2.5m trade goods in the store now
So basically, that's two spaces used up for items that I do want, like tokens
Just an idea
