Lovin' it - the exploders (aka boomies)

Animation when the all new exploders explode is really great.
The radius is totally cool.
The enviroment of the new challenge is awesome.

What do you think about the new challenge and the new exploders?

    I only noticed one 7-step-mission. How many of them are there in this week's challenge?

    Only weird thing is that the fire debuff they inflict on nearby walkers does functionally no damage.

    It looks like every increasing level of exploding walkers will pack more punch than the last.

    It's cool! I've been dogged by a fatty and got injured. Normally that would cause a lost of one star. But not in one of those 7-step-mission.

    It's a bit of a pisser though that you can detonate a grenadier and not get xp for the walkers destroyed in the blast....... :(

    Just invented a funny "in-game-game". B)
    If several boomies (as the exploders are named inofficially in another thread) are placed near of themselves I only fire of one of them. Like a chain reaction the explosion of the first boomy infectes the next boomy whos explosion infectes the next boomy and so on and so on...

    The aim is to let as many boomies explode as possible with only one shot. >:)
    It's sooooo much fun. Give it a try!

    Are we sure that is how it works? Or, to be more accurate, doesn't work?

    There is no number of XP shown but is it added to the total?

    Is it really the intention for the XP not to count when a walker is killed by a nearby explosion?

    Who feels like counting Walkers?
    We could just count how many walkers are killed, including ones killed by Exploders, & see if there's a difference on the end of mission screen?

    Edit: @Dale @Neil_J You DO get XP from walkers killed by an Exploders blast radius.

    I just counted..
    I only killed 12 Walkers/Exploders
    One of those Exploders killed 2 Walkers & 1 other Exploder for me.. total of 15 Walkers/Exploders

    End of Mission I received XP for 15 Walkers

    So it looks like we do get the XP for Exploder kills

    This is only one Mission.. I will do another just to be sure :smiley:

    I did 4 more Missions counting Walkers/Exploder Kills
    Each time @ EOM (End of Mission) the Total Kills included Kills made by Exploders.

    I killed 15, Exploder killed 2, EOM Kills 17
    I killed 21, Exploder killed 1, EOM Kills 22
    etc etc

    So XP does in fact count when an Exploder kills others :smile:

    Thanks! Then the issue is that the XP figures aren't visualising - I'll pass it on.
