    There was no change from before 2.2. If you kill them all, you get Influence.

    That's weird right? Shouldn't they award xp when I kill them?

    The other survivors give xp when killed...

    Technically the AI human enemies are called saviors and do give XP when facing them in missions like story or challenges.

    I don't believe the defenders (opponents survivors) in outposts have ever given XP

    I got it, had to use my tablet and record with my phone... I don't have the video skills you guys have.

    In the last shot, assuming I got these in the right order, you can clearly see the XP I got from killing that one Survivor... 1400+? A nice chunk for one kill. But when you kill a hero... No Xp?

    I just went on a raid to try to test it. Only faced 5 walkers to start and not 6. I'm off to hunt heroes. For sure you get them for survivors but I'm looking for a Daryl Rick or Abraham.

    I feel a freaking stranglehold around my neck when it comes to xp, even when I pay $ for boosters. I don't give a monkey's left or right nut if no xp was given before or after 2.2. It still sux! Whst is it with NG that yall are so afraid of awarding xp? It's ridiculous

    In 2.1 there was a Bug (feature) where you only got around 220 XP per normal human defender. This was raised to 1800 XP.

    I will find some poor Daryl and will check if I don't get XP for him.

    Doh ! You are right. No XP for Heros !!!!

    Anyhow, killing a hero should give 10x the XP then for normal survivor as Heros are much more valuable according to NG.

    Ok, now let's go to the next challenging part:

    If you have killed a Hero (e.g. Abraham), what will happen to the rest of the team ? Will they still have the special ability from the Hero or is it gone as it should be ?

    First one to confirm will get an "Awesome" from me.

    The leader trait is still active, even if the Hero that provides it is defeated.

    I think the Hero trait should go away after killing the leader
    That is a valid tactic to weaken the team by taking out the hero
