Player Priorities for the remainder of 2016

As stated in the Challenge Rework thread, time is running out in 2016. Given the needs for testing and approvals, there is precious little time to add or adjust No Man's Land by the end of the year. This is an incomplete list of the ideas, suggestions, and topics that have been brought up in the office and here on the forums. I'd like forums users to give their opinions as to the most and least desired items on this list, so that we can use that information as we finalize our plans for 2.3 and the months that follow.
1) New ways to earn rewards, tied to existing game modes [such as allowing players to repeat Hard and Nightmare Story Missions]
2) The Challenge Rework as described and discussed in the other thread posted here.
3) Edits to the matchmaking and rewards systems for Outpost
4) New / revamped / Improved Traits
5) New / more Heroes
6) Adjustments to Walker / Overwatch AI
7) New Live Events for weekends and special occasions
8) "Quality of Life" adjustments [giving more than the usual amount of time to tracking down hard-to-isolate bugs]
It should be said that all of these are things that the team wants to do, but we're asking here for the player's opinion on priorities. For example, every patch includes time devoted to rounding up bugs or the little pieces of features that got the cut in past deadlines, but we could use the time that would otherwise be spent on a feature to do other things. Issues like ad availability, memory use, desyncs, and leaderboard accuracy will be addressed as much as possible regardless of whatever else we take on with these next few updates.
Please add your opinion here, and feel free to link to a thread that describes a suggestion that you haven't seen me weigh in on. Thanks as always for your time and consideration.

Since the Forums don't include the mass player-base and oftentimes Outpost players are simply not represented on Forums, I wish to cast a vote for #3 re: outposts. #1 & #2 on list are of course important too (which I assume will already be reiterated by other Forum users). #4 seems like a double-edged sword, re: new traits, I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.
But whatever happens, I'll adapt and keep playing this nice gem of a game (I'm already more than +$10,000 U.S. dollars invested in this game in under a year).
Thanks
Tammy
4 undecided but you can't do worse this this update (please don't take that as a challenge) so probably
5. No
6. Overwatch is basically useless now
7. Yes
8. yes

I guess my top priority would fall under #8. Things that don't work as expected drive me nuts! Finding and using the survivors I want is *way* too cumbersome, especially if they are defending my outpost.
And I'd like more information about the survivors I'm using, their health, equipment & traits activated while I'm on a mission.
I'd like the next update to focus on Fix What's Broken more than new content. I can wait until 2017 for new content, but the things that cause me to be frustrated in the moment truly drive me insane.
Auto center, auto cover & over watch problems are also Quality of Life issues that just can't be ignored anymore. I'd love to never see another auto center thread in 2017
Happy New Year!
2. Hey as long as it's not the old " 2 a week" challenge system I'm fine
3. I don't really do outposts so much so I can't really give a stand
4. As long as their good obviously
5. Of course but here's something I was wondering, would dead characters be eligible as heroes? Like gareth or tyresse?
6.
7. The more the merrier
one suggestion I thought of is for hard missions (maybe even normal exploration) is to add all the special Enimes/situations like tanks, body piles, traps, humans, etc. seeing as your going out into the world to find who knows what encountering who knows what as well as it could make characters like Rick more useful since if the encounter has human enemies his cover ability could actually prove useful.
How bout #8? Would you rather have more fixes or more new content before the end of the year? I think that's what is being asked
I will keep my vote to just one thing one the list:
1) New ways to earn rewards, tied to existing game modes [such as allowing players to repeat Hard and Nightmare Story Missions]
This would be great. I would LOVE to play the story missions again. Some of them are very, very cool maps and it's a great shame that we only get to play each max. 3 times (considering have many times we get to play the same old scavenge mission maps or challenge mission or outpost maps, for that matter.)
Also, to me (who's not a computer person) it sounds like something that would be relatively easily done -- I mean, the maps are all there already. A world of new(ish) content with just a few strokes on the NG keyboard (I assume).
Check out the DMZ guild. We're recruiting. Here.
4) New / revamped / Improved Traits with the recent 'balancing' several traits need immediate help, along with buffing for the melee classes in terms of traits and base stats
2) The Challenge Rework as described and discussed in the other thread posted here. I will express my comments on that particular thread.
1) New ways to earn rewards, tied to existing game modes [such as allowing players to repeat Hard and Nightmare Story Missions] seems like a no brainer for additional content
3) Edits to the matchmaking and rewards systems for Outpost Better balancing of matches, increase the desire to complete all 3 objectives
6) Adjustments to Walker / Overwatch AI This has long been a desire, but with the 'balance' to interrupt it may have become a moot point.
8) "Quality of Life" adjustments [giving more than the usual amount of time to tracking down hard-to-isolate bugs]
5) New / more Heroes - I believe the next two are already in plan/implemented for Season 7, so no need to touch on these
7) New Live Events for weekends and special occasions
2) The Challenge Rework as described and discussed in the other thread posted here.
5) Edits to the matchmaking and rewards systems for Outpost
6) New / revamped / Improved Traits
4) New / more Heroes

Sorry for my english , i'm french !!!
1. Influence - 12-15 per raid is horrible low.
In week I won 400 and I'm knackered down.... It's 33 raids!
2. Some kind of basic replay
3. Option to test own Outpost
4. Overwatch priority, or delay walkers wave after opening gate to 2 turns instead of instant spawn.
Challenge:
1. Rework of crates for low lvl maps.
Scavenge:
1. Add more walkers type on hard mode + better rewards
Story:
1. Unlimited story map replays.

#8 - New / more Heroes
Thanks again!

The change to Interruptor and Bodyshots will not be reversed, but it is quite possible that other combat changes or trait improvements can be made. This is what the 4th option refers to.

1) YUP
4) Yes!
7) For sure!
8) Always wise.
2) Meh
6) Meh

5) No more for a while. Makes leveling everyone and their gear SOOO much more grindy.
1) New ways to earn rewards, tied to existing game modes [such as allowing players to repeat Hard and Nightmare Story Missions].
2) Edits to the matchmaking and rewards systems for Outpost
3.) New / more Heroes -- cool! Although I haven't even unlocked the current ones and feel like I'm on an endless hunt for tokens, I think it keeps the game interesting over time and gives us something to work for.
4) New Live Events for weekends and special occasions
Would you expand on the proposed Adjustments to Walker/ Overwatch AI?
New/revamped/"improved" traits kind of worries me. A year ago I'd put them on my list, but not now. I was kind of fond of the traits we had and although in theory, I'd love new and improved traits, I worry that your definition of improved may differ from some of your players' definitions. For example, I loved overwatch as it was, and find the last "improvement" to that trait a step backwards. It's a change I'll deal with and adjust to, but it and other trait "improvements" make me hesitant to ask for this!
As far as repeatables, I'll copy my response from the other thread:
I'm an odd man out here, but I think there are other players who might agree so I'll put it out there: I don't see repeatables as a problem. I have a time-consuming job and a family, so I can't set a timer and repeat like some others, and wouldn't want to even if I did have the time! That said, I don't care if others do and admire their abilities and tenacity. Even without the time to invest in repeating, one of the aspects of the game that I enjoy is finding new strategies to beat a level and new strategies to earn those frustrating "don't let any walkers die" quest stars. If those repeatable maps are completely eliminated and we're all playing to reach the exact same star level, variable based only on equipment and survivor level rather than the skill required to find and execute new strategies, what's the point and where is the challenge?
Thanks for this thread, by the way, and allowing us to voice our opinions.

Completely agree with your post
Only id add that if all the above is happening I'd stick to your list order with
5)Quality of life
6)Walker/ over watch
7)New more heros,.. With an addition of class such as villains heros for some don't fit
10000000000) And very lastly the challenge rework,.. Which is working pretty well without nerfs/buffs would prefer this well left alone but hey if must change
As above thanks for the opportunity to add input,.. I like that and appreciate it
All of my trait changes from here make players more powerful. I suppose the question is whether you believe me when I say that.
And player opinion is always like gold to us. It means a lot that you care enough to visit here instead of just playing or ditching the game.

My biggest priority, right now, that you could fix tomorrow
If you are not going to touch interrupt or luck etc, and all your plans are for "Buffs" to the traits.
Why don't you tell us you plans. Tell us what you would like to change etc.
Hell, maybe we would even be able to see your "vision" and be happy with the changes that you had just made.
(Although I am very sceptical of that)
I want more new CONTENT (story missions, challenges, etc.) where we have to develop new strategies to compensate instead of changing the actual MECHANICS on how everything works.
For the love of god, please do not introduce any more new traits. You guys broke the game when you introduced the last batch (bullet dodge, bulletproof, stun resistant) which has led to where we are today with the universal disappointment in regards to the recent nerfs. The trait pool is already too large and there's too many crappy ones. Work on buffing those now that there's not any strategy to use besides brute force.
