Increased bonus for scavenger missions?

Just noticed scavenger mission rewards have increased. On hard it's 7k xp and 15k toms.
Not seeing any announcement, is this permanent or a weekly special?
Level 19/20 survivors, L56 camp = L22 walkers at start, but easily beatable.
I just hope this is a permanent change. @Shteevie Any comments on this anywhere?

Thanks for the quick response @Teeceezy

Good news that, seeing as we all probably need zillions of both :)

Bigger question is did the end of mission rewards for completing a mission on hard increase?

Not what I noticed. 1200 XP increase on hard, how generous.

Exactly my thoughts @Rick_ZK how generous that even though building upgrades went from 3.75 million and 4 million to 5.75 million and 6 million the food matched this increase of 50% with about a 9% increase. It's time to bring up end stage economics again @everyone. I might not have time as I go farming for XP to level the other 30 survivors out of 35.

Supplies it's not an issue. Sooner or later everybody will complain that they can't do anything with tomatoes surplus.
XP.... is a factor how NG makes money. Come on who don't buy XP booster occasionally?? ;))
Economy balance is really good and if we add on top events regarding XP or supplies then we shouldn't complain at all ;)

Haven't bought an XP booster yet @Amiga
Believe it or not, any gear I wish to upgrade and peeps I wish to train, the xp is easy enough to get at my pace.

Well I transposed my number wrong putting the XP reward in the slot for the supplies. I will figure it with XP required to level a survivor and the increase in XP reward. I though someone as smart as you would realize I was talking more about XP than tomatoes because of course XP is more desirable than tomatoes even noobs know that. I know you love NG and like to tell people they are wrong but it's up to everyone to decide whether or not the want to complain about the game economy and not be told that we shouldn't complain.

Consider that there will be not another council upgrade this year. If you will train 35 survivors in 2 weeks.. What you will do for next few months?
The same with gear. I like long term progress... It's make me busy and not bored.
1 mil XP is easy to collect weekly without any boosters...
Damn it.. My complain list is shrinking since they boosted XP Tents and gave more XP from scrapping gear lol

You can't train 35 level 19 survivors to level 20 survivors in 2 weeks without gold. It takes 15 hours to 23 hours 45 minutes to train to level 20 from 19. I have no problem making XP the problem is it's over 4 million for 1 piece of equipment and my opinion is that is ridiculous and I bet more people felled that it is unreasonable than it is reasonable.
  • AmigaAmiga Member Posts: 3,770
Of course 4 mil XP is shit lot of XP but we all know that NG won't lower it... That's why XP booster exist... Think as deloper who want to earn $$. Will you lower full upgrade cost from 4 mil to 2 mil?

Back on topic it looks like the end of mission rewards have changed too and this is really where you make your bones.

Edit: I can't tell if the end of mission rewards changed or improved or stayed the same or what now. I'll wait for someone to crunch some numbers or a dev tells us something.

Old days were painful regarding XP. Why now is better? Here you go
    - 10x more XP from killing walkers
    - 25% XP back from scrapping
    - XP tent boosted by 55%
    - XP booster
    - Maggie with 20%+ to XP
    Tada.. Just few facts
    P.s
    Indeed.. I'm funny dude.
    P.s2
Rewards from crates are the same

Just did one hard supplies mission and got mission rewards between 6700 and 8300 supplies from regular crates. Looks like they increased it a little ... not sure about xp missions though.

Yeah really if there ever comes a day that Amiga agrees with me or I agree with him more than 2 or 3 times in a day then that's when I would become concerned!

Like Merle says "who hasn't had a gun shoved in his face these days. If a stranger came up to me with his hands in his pockets then I would be worried."

We both have thick skin too bad more people didn't.

I miss one thing - exchanging TG for XP like we used to in Outpost Beta. Maybe not as pernament option but at least occasionally.

How about this instead Madpuppy: I'll revise one of my original statement in this thread so it's less controversial: Any improvement in static mission rewards or end of the mission rewards is much welcome and thanked by me; however, it may be time to revisit a hot topic from a few months ago that was addressed once in great detail but has been neglected lately and that is the game economy for high level players or players in general. My worry is that NG does monitor game economics but either it comes to their attention too late or it is too late to make it to an update or maybe needs more discussion so I'm bringing it up now and will probably continue to do so and I hope other do too including Amiga. That way it is addressed before it becomes critical mass like it was a few months ago.

The last thing I'm complaining about right now is xp. I think I recall buying a booster way back when I was a new(er) shiny penny and wanted to support the development team for producing a fun game. My impression has been eroded over the last few updates and this one is really out there. I'm keeping my head down and leveling camp and survivors because things are too unstable now. Equipment? Too rare anyway but especially now I'm not touching it unless my bar fills up. The flagship trait of this update was bugged on release, seriously? Obviously we are entering a period of great change, I admire you pioneers but I'm conservative at the moment. Too many dislodged factors caused by radical monkeying with base mechanics-shows rashness and sloppiness with no end in sight.

I'll buy one booster every couple of months, so I'm not one of the game's bigger spenders but shan't even be doing that until I figure out what to use the xp I gain on.......

Things seem to have actually improved. These were back to back hard equipment runs. The irony is after months I still needed the rifle.

@Shut_Up , @Amiga , the grinders and the max players of today were the trailblazers of yesterday. There's pros and cons of going first but know that the trailblazers have made the game better (even if there's no personal benefit). Fight the good fight while being respectful, that's the main message that the mods want on the forum.

Back in the days @Amiga and I had disagreements regarding gas but now he's moved on to other things but XP has always been an issue that he's fought for.

My old flights indeed were regarding stricto XP from scrapping for example ect. XP Tents but I see huge improvement receiving XP and I just don't see it a big issue atm.
