What is the best way to use warriors?

I have some good legendary warriors but I never use them because they always seem to not kill walkers in one hit and get hurt. Is there a strategy to using them?
Good luck, dumbass

@SynapseRanger well as I understood since I started playing, it is - for almost anything you fight- a game based on your gears level.
As I said in another thread, for warriors, the arc trait matters, starting to be interresting at 90°, but totally operative at 135°.
Make your choices upon the damages level, and as usually in close combat, make your survivors a valuable protection (I bet most of us use their xp to improve damages, less than on their own protection)
Facing a group of foes, I think it makes sense to send a warrior starting the slaughter, covered by an assault guy + a shooter to finish the "survivor(s).
It's just my way to use them, but I bet there's plenty of ways to maximize this class of dudes.
    Have fun, kill'em all

I used them mostly high lvl armoured walkers. But these days with limited interrupt...

You should treat warriors as assaults that deal more damage and that are more mobile. The downside is that they have to get close to the dead unlike the assaults that can keep a safe range. And they cannot stun....

Don't listen to this guy, he's just trashing warriors because he has to fight behind them with his spear ;)@GrimGael

Warriors are a great class, btw

Haha, @DoTak I'm a renaissance man, I do it all including ranged combat. One of the responsibilities I have as someone that has moved up in our organization is advising newer players. After a sheild mate and I absolutely schooled them on a bridge battle, this is what I said:
If you come to war, you had better bring a shield. If you don't bring a shield, you had better bring a polearm. If you bring a polearm, you'd better have a friend with a shield.

It's very true, especially because we also have javelins and shoot each other with arrows. All padded, of course. Teamwork for the win.
