  @Weg -- When I first posted about this movement, I did the same as you. Unfortunately, people are greedy and will take advantage of you when they can. I adjusted my strategy accordingly.
  
  If you have Daryl and a Gold Stun resistant armor and luck on a weapon, put him as your easiest target. That way, when you get fired upon, he will retaliate and will cause some hospital time most times for your enemies. I recommend using quality survivors to try to punish people who get greedy for influence. It doesn't always work, but at least you'll probably send some people to the hospital.

  If I put a box of Halloween candy outside my doorstep with a sign saying "Please only take one," some kids will politely only take one. Others may grab a handful. And some will just snatch the whole box and also toilet-paper the house.

  I did the same thing a month or so ago
  Got ribbed of tg's and they killed my defenders that were place way in the back
  
  So I changed my outpost layout and started winning defenses again

  I tried your strategy befor and the same thing hsppened. If you want people to take the loot and run, you have to make consequences for sticking around after the first turn. Make the loot easy to get to, but set up defenders where they are guaranteed hospital time after the one turn. I did this and at least 80% started fleeing.

  I flee after getting tg regardless of lvl/rarity of defenders or less you block tg then you die

  I didn't change because of the dirt bags killing survivors. I just got tired of NG making it so you had to buy eq with cash or tg. It's my outreach for non-forum members to spread the pain. Might switch back, my influence is climbing even though I prefer no kill raiding. If you're a semi-active raider it's not a problem, you can more than make up the influence loss in the lower tiers.

  After encountering too many greedy people who will take advantage of my generosity, I now have my outpost set up for easy access to the TG.
  
  But, if you are greedy & want more?
  Then prepare for a long stay in the ER!
  
  The worse are the guys who lure you in on an easy map & after you open the gate they're purposefully blocking the TG crate.
  
  These are the dudes that will die the most painful, heinous, bloody death!

  I'm actually going against the flow due to my contrary nature. I'm starting to save my one phone radio people and I'm going to stake them out like goats directly behind the tg where they can all be hit by one assault blast. I'll rename one Shteevie, since it is so counterintuitive that someone would help out fellow players that way. I'm almost done upgrading my walker pit so there's no need for me to drain TG's in the near future and worry what tier I'm in for 1000 tg every other week.
  Today was a no go, hero tokens instead. But it's on the list. I'll reset the outpost now.

  All done. Didn't take long for a dirt bag to show up either. Guaranteed 8 hours before the next one, you are only keeping yourself from the flow of easy TG since I'm exclusively running gear missions.
  Everybody's stationary, even if you don't kill everyone, be sure to whack the Shteevie piñata before you go.

  @Dreadz Yep. If you care, you care. If you don't, you don't. Be prepared for a line of dirt bags.
  That person in particular hit mine long ago when it was open and murdered everyone. It's satisfying to see that they are still in the same bracket after a month--even doing that sort of thing. Probably thinks it was a hard fought epic battle.
  Haha, that post literally made my day (I've been cranky)
  I now think of it as helping the "differently abled"
  I've mounted a decent defense for a while and proved to myself I can. It's rigged for the attackers and probably will end up more so soon, so I never sweated lost defense in the slightest and it doesn't bother me to open it up either. Kind of fun, really, if my inf starts to dip to where it bothers me that's a great excuse for a murder spree of my own.

  My crack team is fully assembled. So far it's 3 out of 3 that slaughtered everyone. I think there might be some rage out there...even @Iskä who was so well behaved the first visit.

  I don't spend gold to heal my survivors so, short of spending a lot of real life and hospital time, there really isn't a way for me to raise my influence. So why should I care of other people lower it? The lower it is, the better chance I have to get matchups where I can get some TG.
