"Guild and Challenge Leaderboards are reimplemented using new software"

does that mean we can see the real rankings among top 50, not only #51?

@Shteevie looks a nice update with little that can go wrong.

@Shteevie this sounds AWESOME! The two best improvements for me are no more auto-center and 48 new exploration.... (cough) .... scavenger maps, yes! New content rules!

Is there a chance you forgot to write about sending the freeman back to rehab? I would love to finish the last few missions in night mare mode which seems currently to be virtually impossible!

    - Rick now has the new trait "Close Call: Your survivors' attacks deal more damage if the target is next to an ally.”

    My questions are:
How close is "next"? Does that mean really right next or how many grids is still "next"?
    and
Is there a percentage of "more"?

I would like to request that NG is up front about any of the "negative" changes coming in as well. I know that sort of discussion isn't exactly popular, but that sort of honesty may cut down on the post-update complaining. Allowing a beta test for some of the youtube content creators may be helpful as well, giving players some time for pre-update adjustment.

I didn't see it mentioned at all, but I also hope that the update for increased training grounds is still a long way off. I am just beginning to see the endzone and want to be able to focus on other things too!

@Shteevie How does charging increase damage? Will a charged critical attack do the same amount of damage as other critical attacks? Does it affect damage increase from destructive trait?

@Shteevie @Teeceezy, if possible, the following two additions to the update:
    (1) notification of the specific weapon/ survivor being upgraded/ leveled up.
    (2) In case of survivors, we are able to see the health and damage of the next level. However, in case of equipment, the same is not available. The same may be added for the equipment

Potential suggestion for Rick's Leader Trait. Why not add his current Trait back in 2.4, along with his new Trait?

-I did read the forums more Friday night after I promised I would leave. I can't quit my community, even for a little while. Thankfully, a 12-hour-long Civilization binge helped distract me for a little while.

As for Rick, the two traits are more different than others that we've "doubled up" in recent updates. Instead of an idea like "let's add in some more damage' as we did with Power Strike, this would be two different effects with different triggering conditions. It would maybe have been an idea to give him two Leader traits, but then he would be far less useful when not the Leader. He'd basically be a lowly farmer, or something.

I'm glad that the community so far has had a positive reaction to is new trait; I think it's more fun to be aggressive, and it de-emphasizes some of the rough edges of the cover system and how ranged survivors interact with it. [This is an issue that we still want to address in the future.]

    @snafu as well
-The percentages were removed to make the patch notes more readable; you'll see them in the game as normal.

In common English, "next to" is more easily understood than 'adjacent', though we could have used that term as well. "Next to" means adjacent, and includes diagonals. It's the same as walker attack range.

The damage stacks with crits, other damage buffs like Vigilant, and should work on Overwatch as well.

-We included all of the information on the debuffs, retraction, and downgrades in 2.3. That is to say - there aren't any!

It's my opinion that there are no reasons to cut back on the power of any traits or weapons, etc. at this time, and until data convinces me otherwise, I expect that to be my opinion for the foreseeable future.

To the other question: No new building upgrade levels in 2.3. Quite possibly in the new year, though.

-I'm not exactly sure I follow, but perhaps this is a bug that could use a support ticket? If you do send one, taking some screenshots would probably be a big help.

-I'll add these to the wishlist, but it's far too late to add anything to 2.3. These announcements aren't made until the release is very close. The next update will be after the new year.

Surely it's far from important but still... I hope to see new loading screen, beacuse I'm tired of reminding me forest massacre everytime I launch the game...don't like Neegan's smiling face either :)

Are those all the update notes or like last time there is new hidden content? I don't see you mentioning anything about new heroes...

-There are a few other minor bug fixes in some behind-the-scenes parts of the game. Purchasing reliability, game stability, desyncs, soft locks, and other issues like these are always being addressed as they are found, the causes identified, and the time set aside for them.

I would love to see a full change log. Obviously it doesn't have to be detailed, but those 4+ things could have an adverse affect (or even a benefit) and all these should be listed. Even if it's once it is released.

I don't agree at all with the decision to make the minimum amount of walkers faced at 6 and not closer to 9. I read your response and you can call it or spin it as new strategy all you want but that doesn't change the fact NG is still penalizing those who upgraded their walker pit. I'll come back to this later when I have more support from the player base but I have a question about auto scraping. It says the limit of gear is 300. Is that including gear equipped to survivors??

    - The limit for total quantity of equipment is 300 pieces. This includes all types of weapons and armor.
    - If you end your gameplay session with more than 300 pieces of equipment in your inventory, the lowest-level, least-rare pieces will be automatically scrapped and converted to XP.

-Yes, those pieces are included; they are visible in the workshop, and are counted the same as the other pieces you see there.

So excited about the new things coming up with 2.3.

Again I'd like to know why we don't get to know an exact moment for an update. It would be a great gesture by NG to all the player. We could prepair ourselves not to loose any gas. We could plan upgrades of equipment and survivors before.
An announcement approx. 12-18 hrs before would be great.

Please, NG, what's the thing not telling us? (of course after you know exactly when the update will be ready for the downloads).

@teeceezy , @shteevie please let us know before.

I don't see how the timing of the update can seriously affect upgrading survivors or gear. The update always starts about the same time and unless you have something upgrading and it will finish right before the update or during the upgrade it really shouldn't affect a player. Maybe I'm missing something though so I would like to know if I missed something!
