* no farming allowed *

On new/reworked scavenge maps. Run few so far and every single one had multiple spawn points, even on exit zone like @Gladi shows on other, closed already (lol) thread.

Don't get me wrong NG, I really appreciate this update and VERY nice gift (I'm a f2p player and now I can taste some "payable" stuff, but I can bet there won't be 5sec upgrades this weekend to fully enjoy this gift....prove me wrong! ;) ) but this is definitaly "not cool" :|

    I didn't do scavange yet. What about multiple spawning points?
    And how is it a bad thing?

    @JayZ I completely agree. Scavenge mission are a necessary "pain" to increase XP points... but after this update it's really worse.
    Hard missions rewards have been increased (a little...), I've tried about 7-8 new scavenge maps but I think we get average 30% less XP points from killing walkers because, especially in high levels, you are surrounded very easily from 4+ spots and so you have to run or you get hard injury.
    I like this update in general, but not the scavenge missions.

    Lol after the thread about missing the old maps good for farming in the rotation, and having them graciously put back in.

    Run Season 7 Mission 5 Hard, 1 gas cost, no hospital time, 12000xp. It's boring, but take six minutes to complete and you get free farming.

    Some of the new maps are actually pretty decent for farming. Some will make you want to exit more quickly before getting bruised or worse. Just like it always has been.

    Granted, I haven't played enough to know if the ratio of "good" to "bad" farming maps has changed. Since I'm perpetually levelling survivors and gear and thus scavenging a lot, I'm happy to have more variety. So far I'm coming out with about the same XP gains as before.

    Well, maybe I was not polite enough. Thanks @TheSittingDuck for opening same issue in such way.
    I ran only 2 scavenge missions and you can see my 2nd one just after spawn. Not possible to manage safely after lvl22 walkers(and normally I run up to lvl26/27). So farming will be much harder, amount of multiple spawn maps yet to be find out.
    @szgerg77 Collecting XP is not my favoutite part of game, but it is necesarry, as leveling survs and equip is pretty expensive on high lvls. Now much harder. I appreciate variety of scavenge maps, but those with multiple spawns are not cool at all. Blocking spawning points is way to go, but one cannot block all(especially when whole place for leaving mission is spawn point as well).

    I like the new maps. I could farm the old ones in my sleep. Having something new to adapt to is a good thing.

    I understand multiple point of views here, and I can agree if someone say "more hard, more fun", it's ok. And I like new maps, really!
    But I still believe that scavenge missions are only necessary to collect XP or whatever, and now with multiple spawn we collect much less than before.
    One thing I really don't like is walker/s appearing on the exit area, expecially occupying the last free spot when you're trying to finish...

    I tend not to worry anymore about scavenge or story mission farming, a few outpost against high levels yields much the same with a least a change of maps paid for with a little more time

    @Paulus Though I see your point, I cannot agree on collecting same amount of XP from scavenge missions and outpost raids. For a while, Im able to succesfully raid outposts with 500+TGs(without hospital time) which gives about 10-14k XP each(those 14k are with at least one defender). For 3 raids(6 gas) I can get lets say 35k XP. From easy scavenge missions Im getting 35-50k just for walkers and with opened chests and mission reward, I have over 70k XP per mission(average). So XP income is about half from raids compared to XP scavenge missions for me. I can improve that by farming spawned walkers after opening gate(which will probably bring some more hospital time), but I dont think, it will get to same amount of XP from scavenge. On the other hand, Im compensated by TGs and tomatoes(as I usually go with Glenn in leader position). So between challenges, I do raid alot too, but my main supply of XP are/were scavenge missions.
    @frtr67 Spawn at exit area is pain in the a** indeed.
