Why not introduce the following;

1- each character has a panel where we can see their stats such as : Kills, Missions successful count, injured how many times , deadly missions count. Instead of having to see this when a unit dies.

2- do a region and world guild ranking system with prizes each week for regional and something special once a month for world wide. For example regional say England guilds compete during events and at the end of the event each guild participating gets some rewards. Say top 10 get a legendary unit that they can select in Class or select a legendary or epic item for one of their character class. The rest can be gold, and other things you may consider. For the world wide once a month competition have some super rewards . That will create more competition and more Trafic for the game so it's a win win situation here.

3- try and reduce the time and resources needed to upgrade things. At one point it takes ages to gather resources and upgrade just one farm which is worthless.

4- introduce a deadly daily 30 days calendar with a reward system, this way you create more Trafic and get people to commit to the game. Again win win situation!

5- Guild : let us have an interference where we see the guild as a great town hall or a military base and why not any place that is fortified greatly. Let us upgrade that guild and its buildings and each building giving some bonuses to EXP rate, reducing building time, better rate of finding items, better rate in getting high lever classes and units and so on. This again will create more Trafic and commitment to the guild and the game. Another win win situation!

6- introduce Guild Wars. Have a system where each member is placed by the leader of 5-6 sub leaders in a specific position and randomly assign if they will be attackers or defenders against hoards of zombies unleashed by the enemy which could be another guild within the region. I don't think human vs human would be interesting , but each player getting to defend against waves of zombies for a few turns that would be nice.
