NG, pls remove the 'low-lvl survivor' loophole

@Shteevie we understand NG is looking into this, and I would like to emphasize that this loophole is very annoying.
Players without low-lvl survivors cannot go back and re-create the same 'strategy', and it cannot be in the interest of the game
or fair to all other players.
I have been talking to several leaders of other guilds, and I haven't found any that would want to keep this loophole.
I am sure they will support this post, if that's necessary.

Thanks for keeping the game interesting and fair for all.

The loophole is to have an army of maximum lvl9 survivors, preferably with gold wrestling armor, and have them run certain maps with it. Lvl9 survivors heal within seconds for maxed players, hence you can rinse and repeat this approach until you get lucky (on a gas booster where it doesnt cost anything extra).

There is a thread explaining it in detail. Pls dont go and build your team around it, my take is you are missing out on the game itself and turn into a star-generating machine.

@Taulus it is a loophole that uses low level survivors equipped with the proper gear to go into high level playing maps to avoid healing costs. It is a fundamental flaw to the game and creates an unfair advantage to the players who don't know about it.

There is a thread out there in Strategy section called Repeatables. It's one of the 1st posts in that sub-section of the forums.

If you can't find it, let me know and I will post the link.

@Putchuco Clearly the ones who will disagree with your plea to NG are the ones abusing this fundamental flaw to the game to gain on the leaderboards which at this point are still useless because of it.

I'm dumbfounded that some people have the nerve to actually protest that they want to continue to use this so called 'strategy' and still call it a fair game.

@Putchuco, i think i answered your question about fairness with my post above. And the other thing, If it isn't fun to you, that doesn't mean that it isn't fun for other players ;)

It's not a loophole or exploit for me, it's a normal game mechanic since the beginning of the game.

So use it or get finally over it.

For me are exploits like Week One used much more annoying than LLS.

Oh this thread is going to get locked up soon if everyone doesn't play nice and that would be a shame because this is a good thread.

@Governator I have a couple of videos in my possession where a full team of lvl 6 - 8 scouts go in to two maps from the last challenge: Shine A Light and Terminus using the wrestler trait to kill the fatty in order to win that map.

Becasue they avoid healing costs, they can attempt many times without having to pay gold for infinite attempts.

That would be unfair @Amiga because certain people follow these threads to make sure they get closed becasue they want to continue to abuse a fundamental flaw to the game.

NG, please let the players voice their concerns and do not close this thread.

People deserve to have a voice in this matter.

NG has the Data and knows who used it or not. And i bet you can't explain how u raised the leaderboard to the top over night. It was just possible with the 30 star exploit to this time. So don't come me with fairness. That's all.

Everyone please ignore this person and carry on with your conversation. They did the same thing during the Reckonin Fiasco.

Yeah and I wonder how long it will take for the mods to remove that private convo as it is against the rules.

NG needs to pick a side of the fence and stick to it. Either Rework the maps again so low level survivors don't work or openly admit that low level survivors go against logic but that they work great and advertise it. I have some and I'm sick of looking st them and would like to level some of them up. If NG doesn't fix it then just admit that it works and promote it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted to using anabolic steroids during his competition days but he has said time and time again that if his competitors were not using steroids than he wouldn't have to either and he was right. He was so much better than his competition at the time because he developed weight lifting principles no one had discovered before that the only way they could keep up with him was using steroids. At that point they did pass him and he had to start using steroids to keep up with them. Had everyone been playing fair you would have had no one on steroids and Arnold beating everyone like he did still.

    Does this sound familiar?

Edit: I'm not saying anyone here is so good they are Arnold and people have to cheat to keep up. What I'm saying is that problems in the challenges often cause people to do things they wouldn't have to do otherwise.

I just don't really understand the logic behind NG's actions. They nerf'd Dodge and Interrupt because they felt like it was causing builds that were going against the "spirit of the game". I learned how to use Dodge and Interrupt from @WeekOne and @Terminates , and I can tell you it was hard, and it was a thing of tactical beauty when it worked.

But NG was concerned about the "spirit of the game" - whatever that means.I personally don't have a position on the whole LLS debate - every game has a player base that is clever, creative + will push the limits of the game - which we as a player community have amply demonstrated that we can do in this game. Am I jealous because I don't have any well-equipped LLS to utilize this strategy? Hell yes. Because I thought the "spirit of the game" was to make our survivors stronger, and to upgrade them to make them better fighters and survivors. At the same time, I can appreciate the tactical benefit of using lower level survivors to beat the game system - but is that really in the "spirit of the game"? So do I start grooming some of my LLS to take advantage of this tactic, or do I wait and see what NG decides is the "spirit of the game"?

@Shteevie @Teeceezy what is the "spirit of the game"?
