Please fix Melee.

This unbalance between Ranged x Melee has been going on for a long time, but since Challenge 2.0 it's bothering me a lot.

All Melee classes are unusable in Challenges beyond RSL 24+ (besides Scouts for LLS exploit - won't go into this here).

What happens: 95% maps at high lvl RSL (say 24+) are basically Abraham + two other ranged, with the other 5% being a different combination of three ranged. That results in either spending a LOT of gold in healing or simply waiting, waiting, waiting... And not playing at all.

I'm very frustrated and hoping for better days soon. I can't stand being at the Hospital anymore. Another thing that comes on as an example: I have lots of melee legendary gear in my stash that I simply don't care about upgrading as melee isn't playable outside Outpost and some specific missions, and therefore variety isn't needed.

    LOL,all I want is the warrior charge back to its former,it's pretty worthless considering one swing barely does ANY DAMAGE!

    @kryptonix but with the new format, that's no longer possible, right? For example, looking at this challenge, let's say you could use melee characters and successfully stun and interrupt. Even though that'll help you out on BBQ and maybe some of the other maps, but you'll eventually have to deal with additional walker waves in maps such as Getting Burnt, Road Runner, and Double Trouble. As a result, you'll need a diverse team and a diverse set of strategies to complete a round.

    and while we're talking about how useless melee characters are, it's worthwhile to once again note that the Warriors' bonus attack, which only does 75% of the damage of a regular attack, is complete BS.

    I support this initiative.

    Bodyshots for melee should not happen, or it should be twice what ranged is (so RSL+8)

    I agree with @GrimGael this thread will more likely be used to nerf ranged survivors rather than buff melee class.

    P.s I like melee class the way they are

    @Japes87 bruisers and warriors used to be the way. Then bruisers were nerfed out of existence, er balanced. Two bruisers and a warrior or two warriors and a bruiser were de rigueur. Or so I dimly recall. And this was the way before pink stars, so the rest of us could play them, lol.

    NG read this properly please... Don't nerf ranged... Buff melee.

    Bodyshot is nonsense for Melee. Revisit this and most problems are over.

    100% Interrupt shouldn't be possible. Make it most 70 or 80% so that it is usable, but not reliable (with this calculation even with tons of luck 100% Interrupt wouldn't be possible). This wouldn't turn into abuse in the new round system.

    Last time I did 2x BS in a row on walkers +3 using Warrior.
    After that I said.. No f** way.
    Only ranged....

    I always use melee when I get to level 24-25 so I don't see what the issue is? I find that I can complete levels easier with melee survivors because there aren't nine walkers seaming every few turns. If I use ranged survivors, there are too many walkers to deal with. So most of the time, when I get to this level, especially level 25, I use mostly melee survivors (level 20).

    The one fix that is across the levels for Melee is eliminate healing for melee characters unless the character is "killed" I never use melee because they go to the hospital so much why promote them when you know you will do one mission and have to wait

    Also hunters and assault can kill several dead in one shot how do melee compete
    Simple and just about the only thing you can do " no healing time for melee"

    I don't use melee other than out post to rush and get the trade good and by the way I know that he will be wounded and I just pick another scout for the next raid.
    Btw I have one 20 th level melee out of 25 characters and I don't waste time promoting them because I don't love waiting in the hospital. Devs let's talk about no healing time for melee

    I stopped using melee survivors about a year ago.
