Is there new information in here? Are the next two trials somehow different than the previous ones? It seemed like it's going to be the same but wasn't sure if I was just skipping over something.
They are different per @Teeceezy recollection (hopefully his memory is faulty from studying too hard!!!). Instead of 15 radios for the 5th trial, we will get those token rewards instead. I was just coming to create a poll about what people would prefer, but then I thought, "what's the point?"
Ugh. That's horrible. I'd much rather get 15 radios (assuming they don't change the structure of other rewards) @Teeceezy and @Shteevie
15 radios contains an epic survivor or 32+ hero tokens over 75% of the time (in my experience), so it's much more valuable than 20 hero tokens for heroes that I might not ever care about.
That better not be right they are getting tighter and tighter at NG, they will be installing see through toilets in there building next so they can check what they are flushing away.
Jesus ballz, all of you need to send me your luck with radio calls...outperforming the expected odds of all 3 rares by 20%....it goes without saying what almost all of us prefer...
That better not be right they are getting tighter and tighter at NG, they will be installing see through toilets in there building next so they can check what they are flushing away.

I don't think this is them trying to be stingy. I genuinely believe they are well-intentioned here and trying to figure out a way to give people more hero tokens, which are diluted. I just don't think they perceive the value of this reward in the same way most players do.

Most of what they do is well intenioned its just decided by people who dont play the game to an extent to actually create events or awards that are actually wanted or valuble, thats why majority of there decisions back fire.
They need to completely change the token economy so you can actually make progress not do these little things which ultimately help no one.

This. 100% this. A real life example of the consequences of not being in touch with the product you are desiging: "The Facebook Home team made a horrible, simple mistake before it began development of the product. The people on the team are iPhone users – and they didn't use Android enough before testing Android with Facebook Home installed, says Constine."
Sadly, I believe NG thinks that Heroes are the best part of the game, while the reality is that most of them are useless.
I'm a fan of Hero tokens so i'm always okay with getting them but i know that's not the case with everybody. We all have different goals for our survivor line-ups. Radios seem to hold more value for everybody as they give you more options in reaching your line-up goals. And radios are even more important now since we aren't receiving as many ads as we once were. I welcome the Hero tokens but I'd say give them in addition to the radios, not in place of. We want to feel rewarded not duped.
My main concern about it is to make radio calls is the best thing from the whole game. I always hoard some (not the masses others do) and the anticipation to use them grows from day to day.

The first time these ran, upon completion we got radios AND hero tokens. If this time we are getting tokens but no radios, then yes, I would call it stingy.
@Shteevie@Teeceezy Please confirm that you are getting rid of the 15 phones reward from the season missions.
If that is the case, this is horrible. If that is the case, this is screwing f2p players over way more than those who are willing to spend. This is also screwing everyone who is still progressing through the chapter missions, since an epic or legendary survivor will get you further than an uncommon or rare hero. The chance of an epic pull from the 15 call is the best part of the season missions. If I were a sarcastic poster, I would say: "Wow. I can't wait for the 20 Eugene token reward, because that'll really benefit my team". But I'm not a sarcastic poster, and I'll never use him. Make the reward 40 tokens of a hero of our choice, then I'd be more likely to be on board. Please don't screw us out of 15 phones per week.
We've already been receiving hero tokens after completing the 5th and final mission of that weeks particular episode, along with 15 radio phones. So I believe the message should have read as follows. We will no longer be giving out radio phones for completing the final mission of weekly episode challenge, but still have the same hero tokens reward though. I don't know why they just wouldn't say, robbing you of radio phones.
150 Daryl tokens would be useful, as my Daryl and almost all the others I've encountered have been legendary, but 20?? Nah. I'll have the radios please. As for Eugene. Not unlocked and not particularly wanted. Radios again please.
“You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only option.” (Bob Marley)
I'm confused about this as well. We already get 20 hero tokens for completing the 5th trial, as well as 15 radios. Does this really mean the radios are gone? I took it as them giving us a heads up for which tokens to anticipate receiving in the coming weeks, especially with the Last hero Standing decision we need to make of Rick vs. Daryl.
I can appreciate a gesture to help us get more hero tokens, but Daryl tokens are practically the most common! Give us something rarer and more useful. Plus, I thought for sure with S7 E15 they would give us a head start on Gabriel tokens as that was the mission he was introduced in.
This decision to change this absolutely baffles me , if I'm understanding it right , you had to expect that people would be upset with this ? The only reason I could see to do this was if there was a big increase in radio collection for the players in 2.6
That better not be right they are getting tighter and tighter at NG, they will be installing see through toilets in there building next so they can check what they are flushing away.

Yiehaa...finally some more Daryl tokens
They are offered most times in the shop, most of the people already have him on legendary level and don´t use him that much, because a usual leg hunter does the job better.
His tokens are the most don´t missed in the game I guess
Turn away 15 Radios with a minimal chance to get up to 256 hero tokens and give instead 20 hero tokens.
That doesn't solve the problem.
Think what @JayZ taught us. Only complain if you can suggest a solution. Too many complaints about too little hero token rewards and the only suggested solution was hero class tokens. We all know that never happens.
It's like your grandma gives you a couple of socks for Christmas.
You don't really want them, but your grandma had the best intentions.
