I will wait with my feedback after reaching a higher RSL in the next challenge round.
But after reading the announcement the feedback should be positive.
I was looking forward to that change and only thing that is changed is that balance is brought to where it should be in the 1st place and walkers got buffed.
I can't see how this is solving the issiue sadly I have to admit although I was very hopeful about it.
Still no point going 21st.
Difference between 21st and 20th stats increase is still inadequate to 100 stars lost imo.
Only situation when those 100 stars dont matter is when one is planning to spend thousants of gold and has got 7-8+ pink stars (Elites)
Why cant 20 and 21 start same rsl?
Simple solution. If ever 22 would come to play, make them start 15th. Or am I missing the point here?
Making ppl choose their starting difficulty would be an amazing solution imo. That is how it was in every single game i know, online ones as well. You get to choose difficulty maybe not straight forward cause there are humans involved but things like mods, limitations to usage etc.
If any1 would get to choose their starting difficulty, 99% of players would choose lowest ones im sure.
Hopefuly I am wrong. Next challenge will tell.

I noticed the increase in damage for my 24 weapons but also noticed a decrease in health of my 24 armor.
Is this correct?
Image 1377 is before the changes today and 1380 is after the changes, same armor before and after.

Same one got hit by a walker 27 and lost nearly complete green bar.
It feels better, but only challenge can show it.
A level 20 survivor facing a level 21 walker is still at a slight advantage compared to a level 21 survivor facing a level 22 walker. The imbalance is smaller now (presumably), but more widespread. That's because a level 19 survivor facing a level 21 walker is now at a slight advantage compared to a level 20 survivor facing a level 22 walker (and so on). Basically, to be balanced, it seems to me that (all other things being equal), a survivor at level X facing a level X+N walker should have the same chances as a survivor at level Y facing a level Y+N walker, regardless of the values of X and Y.
It's possible that a change like this is unavoidable, and this is certainly better than the level 21 handicap before. And it's also possible that higher level players getting more bonus stars for round completion (they do, don't they?) will offset, or more than offset the slight handicap. But I'm still a bit reserved about this.

You can try Hard Scavenge missions, as they have higher leveled walkers.
But to be honest i am tired of this discussion nothing will change everything has focus on making more money and squezzing out the players
Because after Level 21, the Level 20 players complain.
Then the Level 19 players complain.
Then the Level 18 players complain.
........
You see where it ends?
I was finally able to make it to a level that I was previously never able to make it to last challenge, after upgrading my survivors to level 21... It was a tad bit costly at the end.. So I'm looking forward to it being a little cheaper with these changes!
Although, I do wish there had been some sort of adjustment to starting level as the incentive to level up for many bada** players still appears to be lacking!

However, as the information is very limited ATM, I think it is wise, as others have pointed out, to see how it goes for the next week. Just a quick check of my scavenge team shows an average of 57.3 points increase in damage while the 24 walkers went up 11. Not really that big of a deal but the challenge will be the true test.
Due to the lack of transparency, lack of details in announcements, and just about every change lately (IMO) has the perception of emphasizing something they are making better for players while quietly changing a couple of others to hinder us; we just need to be patient and see what happens over the next 2-3 weeks; especially with the update announcement that hopefully has some REAL DETAILS in it (@Teeceezy - hint, hint). After all, NG should remember it only takes a couple of seconds of holding on an icon to purge this game from our devices.
Thank you @JayZ for all your analysis work and to everyone else who spoke up about level 21 for the thousands that were upset about it.
In the past, walker damage only increased 16% every level (see my very long analysis thread from a couple of months ago). If our gear is increasing at 19% every level now (presumably, still need to verify), it would not be unreasonable for walker attack damage to increase at a comparable rate.
Let's wait and see what the numbers show first...

@Teeceezy please have a look at Rick: his damage is 3089... more than lvl 25 zombie's health.... also.... shooter damage has been increased of 50%.... you think.... one single shot will be more than enough to kill such zombies...... ......ehm.... ....no.... no at all.... ....look the second picture......

A bodyshot makes 50% less damage.
So Ricks damage is 3000 + 1500 shooter boost /2 . That is something around 2700.
And that is not enough to kill the walker.
So Rick damage is 3089 + 1545 = 4633 ... ...then 4633/2 = 2316 as total damage
2965-2316= 649 remaining health of zombie lvl 25. but number seems to be not correct since it shown 336 and not 649 based on previous assumptions.

Your Rick shows 3089 damage but that means not that every normal hit makes exactly 3089 damage.
Sometimes you make 2867 or 3125. (the numbers I have chosen are totally random)
