Mission Survivors

So if my eye are not deceiving me, I can no longer get useful survivors from missions? Shooter from Nightmare Mode Ep. 4 is now level 8 instead of 12. If we didn't grab the scout, warrior, and assault we are now not suppose to competed in stars? How is this fair?

    Yeah I was worried about that from playing the beta but it only clicked a couple of hours before the patch released so I didn't have time to make it through all the missions. Wish I'd have picked up at least the level 17 assault.

    If this is true, they should either replace the ones that exist with the correct level, or keep the lvl 17 and 18 as is. Otherwise as OP stated, the ones that received them would have an unfair advantage

    Totally agree. How can you make a fundamental change like this that will have the game be lopsided for a long time to come.

    Yeah there should at least be an announcement first prior to making a change like this.
    At least like a week or two or a month, to at least give people the chance to work towards getting them before they are phased out.
    I wouldn't ask of something like taking the survivors already gained away from the people that have them.
    I think that there should be another maintenance/update where those survivors are implemented back in just to make things fair for the people that can no longer get them.
    Due to an unfair advantage.
    No matter if it's a big or small advantage.
    People are still missing out on something that others have in which there was no announcement given prior to changing.
    That's Just my opinion on this topic

    Happened me too. In episode 12-3 first was lvl 12 scout and second lvl 9 scout instead expected lvl 14 Uncommon. So do we need fail missions and try to pass them only when they offer better reward? Are there better rewards than mentioned in wikia? Do we get chance to recruit higher than previously and might it be even rare, epic or legendary?

    just seen this and posted in the 1.6 update thread. on hard with lev 18 walkers with an isolated level 12 scout armed with a tooth pick, where as soon as he gets hit is an immediate struggle, is just not going to happen. wasted 12 gas trying to get a screen shot of it. planned on using said scout in this weeks challenge on train wreck!!! so all in all, not a good change.

    And while others mentioned it is unfair on star gathering front, it is unfair on many more levels , having such a level 18 scout (or 17 assault) increased the levels of walkers on exploration missions, which in turn increases the rewards from the crates etc, so that is a serious disadvantage not just short term, but for probably a couple months till next couple updates come out and we get our own survivors up to lev 18 or even 19 for those very few good enough to already have the lev 19 warrior (and to those people i doth my cap, awesome skills guys!

    By all means lower the drops of survivors for missions in the future where no one has them yet if you think unfair, but don't alter for survivors who already are widly in circulation!

    So that is awesome, didn't even think of this. We can't even complete the missions now? This is fixed? By completely braking the game? And get worse rewards too? I'm speechless.

    Can you please let us know if you guys will fix or change the campaign survivor levels back to how it was?

    I worked for weeks to train my surviors to take on 11-3 Nightmare for the Lvl 19 warrior. I waited until after the update and purchase a bundle to help me prepare for that battle. With no notice; you guys changed it and i feel really baited and switch up about this.

    How can the new lvl 14 warrior for nightmare get through those lvl 20s now??

    I really hope you guys change it back or let me know thanks.

    This change is disheartening. Why?
    Is it just a glitch that can be fixed easily ithout the need of a new version?
    Many of us were preparing and strategizing on how to beat the Hard + Nightmare missions, but with the extremely low rewards now it has become both pointless and extremely difficult.

    I won't be doing any Hard/Nightmare mission until this is fixed.
    This is areal bummer, as the replay missions was one of the best features of the game ATM.

    This is a real blow to people who have struggled towards this goal.
    it is unfair for those who have yet to achieve this reward compared to those who have.
    please either reconsider this change or retroactively change the existing survivors as it creates an unfair imbalance to the current player base.

    First, I like the Shooter from Episode 13 beeing Rare instead of Uncommen like the other ones. (y)

    Second, I totally agree with KaLi's post. A lot of us saw those Mission Survivors as a goal to reach and spent (a lot of) money therefore. This is really disappointing. :(

    One of the most satisfying moment a good game can offer is to allow its players to obtain something of substantial in game value albeit through very difficult means - a game-changing reward obtained through skill and effort.

    In my opinion, the game got that right when it introduced very difficult to obtain high level survivors. I think it was a rather well thought easter egg since it doesnt cannibalize into the current radio for legendary system and their usefulness can only last until the rest of the leveling ceiling catches up. To be frank, i actually enjoyed spending the time and gold trying to do obtain them repeatedly. I vividly remembered that euphoric moment when i first obtained the level 16 warrior, which at the same time, opened up many possibilities in venturing much further, something unexpected from a free to play game.

    I believe a handful of players were quick enough to obtain the lvl 19 warrior and lvl 20 scout before the bruiser nerf.. Nothing against their amazing foresight. I was initially hopeful that an upgraded team of level 16s with good enough skills would just make it possible despite the nerf. However, now that it has been removed totally, this overwhelming advantage is gonna take months to level out..

    Well, no matter what it is, it is a problem created by the inconsistencies of the game creators. I was hoping it would be a better solution rather than penalizing players.

    yup agree, although i dont think they would had the scout via brusiers as epp 12 came in 1.5 at same time the brusier nerf surprise came ;-) But probably right for the warrior i guess.

    So we've had a offcial post about this now which frankly I think is BS.

    The old version the rescued survivor was equivalent to the level of the walkers so as far as I'm concerned this was WAI and one of the only rewards in the game which was level correct.

    The problems occurred as they didn't expect people to develope stratagys to beat the overwhelming odds to get these characters.

    So now we have the so call "it was a bug" and they changed the survivor lvl (from comments at best -4 at worst - 6). How can this be what you intended a survivor who's as tough as a wet paper bag, also if this is what was intended why would you give someone who's at level 18 a survivor which would be no use to their roster. Plus even if you get your two survivors up to 18 to tackle the mission at the correct level keeping the heavily underleveled 3rd survivor alive is going to be tough.

    I refer back to the old version was intended they just underestimated us players.

    They have spoken.. i think there's no point in complaining now. Its just like the bruiser nerf issue.. they wont get it back to the way it was before..

    Was about to get my lv 17 Assault.

    The best I have rescue in v1.5 was a lv 15 warrior (I have lv 14 teams)

    So many have lv 16, 17, 18 and even 20 from mission... not fair for those who can not get it now. remove it from the one who got them, compensate them with let say 100 radios per survivor removed.

    yeah agree, Lance, i have the assualt, and can tell you makles a huge difference with farming gurenteed farming runs at lev 17 now, makes xp gathering a lot quicker!!!

    (of course can make deadlies a little more dicey so need to be careful).

    But to stop you getting them is unfair. and that gets more with the 18 scout which i also VERY common, the 19 warriro and 20 scout i think a LOT less common tbh.

    But your suggestion of auto scrapping them for everyone and giving some radios and maybe XP is very sensible in my eyes.

    However need to at least make the scout on 12.3 hard a level 16 now instead of the now 12/14 to give you a chance

    The survivor rescued need to be at the very least what your current training ground can produce, now it is lower make no sense.

    eheh nice one I want my money back :P I also have level 18 scout and I really wanted the warrior level 19 :( now it is impossible
